Breaking power which is less than the ideal

I have Audi A7 and its breaking power less than the ideal. Seems like I have to press the brake pedal down about 40-45% before the brakes begin to engage and then very firmly to stop at a moderate speed. Should I swap out the pads or not?

How old for the brake fluid? Is it only happened after the brake fully warm-up?

Duralast -- should be some China made brake pads. It is too hard on those material.

Try OE Audi brake pads or some OEM brake pads (like TRW, Zimmermann, ATE or Akebono).

Anyone else surprised how often brakes or braking is misspelled? Eg. in CL ads 80% of the time.
