Good places for buying Rolex in lower mainland?

Hi guys,

Any good places to buy new Rolex for good price or with good inventory?

Thanks

Are you a lurker or you just don't come to Revscene. Either way welcome!

I've gotten several from Lugaro, and they've been great.

Thank you ntan!
Do you happen to know any good place for selling watches like that other than craigslist?

Agreed.

I got mine from Brinkhaus

Montecristo in Oakridge. We've gotten three Rolexs from Gianni, always the best prices.

Lugaro in West Van although Park Royal is undergoing serious reno's, last time I was there Lugaro wasn't open.

Palladio in DT is a better bet, i've never bought from them, but I have had a couple timepieces serviced there, nothing but good service.

What about pre-owned rolex? Any reputable stores in Vancouver?

Would like to know this as well.. I haven't found any place that has any decent selection. When I was in Tokyo, there was a store with 13484729147 used rolexes (and others) every few blocks.. I think Vancouver is just more of a DW kind of town..

Otto Friedl at the basement of Hotel Vancouver will typically have a couple used/consignment. Stock is super hit or miss. There are a couple of private watch dealers locally also hit or miss depending on what you are looking for.

+1 for Montecristo in Oakridge

They will also do free servicing on your Rolex even if you didn't purchase it there.

ToneCapone 08-18-2017 07:51 AM

there's actually a new Rolex boutique on the ground floor of the shangri la (downtown van)

would also be interested in finding out good spots for used (besides clist)

This seems hard to believe...

Free servicing is a bit much. Maybe a bracelet adjustment here and there but nothing like an overhaul.

Drk 08-18-2017 02:25 PM

10 Past Ten if you're looking for something vintage or a bit more niche.

Now that you mention that I think you guys might be right.

May not have been a full service... They changed the length and grease?

The guy might've just been nice?

Older Caucasian gentlemen, had to knock on door and be buzzed in.

Last (and only time) was 5 - 6 years ago
