I tied Budong last week at literally the last minute when Perron went +1 against LA.
Nick Leddy went -6 on the week. That one hurt.

You just wait, Talbot is going to prove to be a good acquisition. Tonight in Nashville is going to be a good test. Especially since someone said horrible things to Khudobin in the showers and crushed his confidence.
I'll admit though, I never noticed the draft picks from my mobile app. He kind of took advantage of my ignorance in that trade, as Talbot for Wilson would have been a fine trade by itself. |

You're lucky I didn't ask for a 1st rounder in my proposal. Jw, if you did see the draft picks involved, would you still have accepted or what would you have countered with?

Honestly, if I could go back I would have gone with a lower round pick, maybe a 4th. Or bump up your pick to a 5th round. It wasn't too bad a deal overall, as the second round guys aren't going to be too far off the 3rd or 4th (taking into account the top 48 players a year).
But I'm going to have to be ready for next year's draft. Gotta do my homework, and draft as many Tkachuks as I can, hahaha!

Geezus ghost, is anyone on your roster not injured?!
Lmao, there is a lot of red coming up when I click your team
Be honest, you’re just giving Tim poodong a bit of a break. Let him know what a win feels like for once...
Let’s see if he remembers to activate his roster tonight
And what’s up with goonsquad’s goaltending stats this week? I’m hoping we’re nit just going to give jqc the win again this week.
Also, Shitty goaltending is my thing, okay! |

IB cammertime realizes that he doesn't get credit for his goalie stats this week = 7-4 for hypa.
That said, who let jqc walk away with a 9-2 win again this week?
And with gifs and me going at it next week, he's going to be incredibly hard to knock out of the top spot.

You got it man.
Your goalies need a minimum of 3 starts to activate the goalie stats. I got hit with this earlier this season, which gave up 4 points to gifs (iirc).
Funny thing is, Talbot was on the ice for about 5 minutes before he got pulled. That was my 3rd goalie start. |

Well your poor GMing skills are about to pay off in my favour. May as well just toss me a draft pick as well.

lmao! You took Talbot?
It's better to have a shitty starter, than to miss out on the goalie stats.
But I'm not worried about you coming back. All the way down there in 8th.
At least you're doing better than ghost.
And jqc made the mistake of not activating Eric Johnson. Sure, he's no McDavid, but stats are stats.

I used early draft picks in the draft to go goalie deep
Crawford and Murray
Both are injury riddled this year, both having sub par years. Murray more than Crawford. Sucks to be me.

Originally Posted by invader Both are injury riddled this year, both having sub par years. Murray more than Crawford. Sucks to be me. | Crawford may be done for the season, as per the Chicago Suntimes. Quote:
Ten days ago, Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was asked straight up whether he expected goalie Corey Crawford, who has been out since Christmas with a mysterious ‘‘upper-body injury,’’ to return to the lineup this season.
‘‘Yes,’’ he said without hesitation.
But it’s not quite that certain. Three sources told the Sun-Times that Crawford is dealing with vertigo-like symptoms for the second time in his career. And there is a growing concern in the organization that Crawford might miss the rest of the season, as Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Tuesday.
The Hawks have been unusually tight-lipped about Crawford’s situation since putting him on injured reserve coming out of the Christmas break, leading to wild and rampant speculation in the hockey world. Asked nearly every day about Crawford’s status, Quenneville has had no updates and no timetable for his return. General manager Stan Bowman last week said: ‘‘There’s not much to say until he’s back on the ice. It’s sort of status quo right now.’’
Reached late Tuesday, a Hawks spokesman declined to comment, citing the team’s standard protocol of not discussing details of injuries.
When Crawford initially went on injured reserve, Quenneville said he would be out ‘‘indefinitely.’’ When he was asked if there was a defining blow that injured him, Quenneville said: ‘‘Not sure, exactly. I don’t want to get into details of all that.’’ Crawford was involved in a collision during the Hawks’ game Dec. 21 in Dallas, but he appeared fine and finished the game. He was back in the net two days later in New Jersey, but he looked terrible, allowing three goals in less than 14 minutes and being pulled in favor of backup Anton Forsberg. Crawford hasn’t been seen since.
Quenneville said Sunday that he hasn’t talked with Crawford recently.
‘‘It’s been quiet right now,’’ Quenneville said.
‘‘I think we’re always concerned about our teammates first and then our team second,’’ captain Jonathan Toews said when he was asked about Crawford on Sunday. ‘‘I think Crow knows he’s trying to get better. He’s one of those guys that we know we can rely upon as a person, as a teammate. He’ll do what he can to get himself better, so he can get back to playing and get back and help our team when he knows how to.’’
Crawford missed nearly four weeks near the end of the 2015-16 season, with the Sun-Times reporting he was dealing with symptoms. of vertigo. He returned in time for the Hawks’ first-round playoff series against the Blues.
Losing Crawford might be a death knell to the Hawks’ playoff hopes. By the time they emerge from their bye week Saturday, the Hawks might be several points out of a wild-card spot, with multiple teams to climb over, and only Forsberg and Jeff Glass — with a combined 27 NHL starts between them — in goal. Crawford hasn’t been put on long-term injured reserve yet. If he is, it will free up considerable salary-cap space that the Hawks can use to acquire a goalie. But there will be nobody on the market with Crawford’s pedigree. The two-time Stanley Cup-winning goalie was in the Vezina Trophy conversation this season with a 16-9-2 record and a sparkling .929 save percentage behind the Hawks’ spotty defense.
‘‘Obviously, you’re missing him,’’ Quenneville said Sunday. ‘‘He’s been arguably our key player all year, and [with] the consistency he’s given us in the net, we know how valuable the position is and what it means to your team.
‘‘It’s almost like, ‘Oh, that’s a tremendous hole.’ As a team, you have to make an awareness that, hey, you have to contribute on the defensive side of things a little more.’’ https://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/...eason-sources/ | And, Quote:
The Pittsburgh Penguins offer our deepest condolences to Matt Murray and his family on the passing of Matt's father, James Murray, yesterday in Ontario. Matt is returning home from the west coast and will miss an indefinite period of time to be with his family. | ouch.

Erik Karlsson, Roman Josi and John Klingberg still all up for grabs! I'll consider letting any one of them go for a 2018 first round pick! Send me your offers!

Plus/minus is only one of the stats categories. There are 13 in total. 1/13 won't make that much difference to your overall weekly score. But overall I'm happy with the trade we made.
