HVAC switches unit w/new back lights (Aug 17, '17)
Alternator (Jan '17)
Valve cover gasket (Jan '17)
Wiring loom in driver's side fender resoldered (Jan '17)
Cons:
Valves could use an adjustment. I tightened them up earlier this year but never got around to fine tuning them. Doesn't affect anything, just sounds a little annoying
Spark plugs are likely due for a change, though not strictly necessary
Some play in the shifter linkage, though you'll still find each gear without issue
Small tear in the driver seat base. They're covered in a seat cover as I hate black leather seats in summer heat, so it was never really an issue
SRS light occasionally turns itself on and off. Haven't been able to pull the codes, though
So, no real major issues with the car. Just things you should be aware of before checking it out.
Will include a set of high end Hakkapeliitta 8 studded winter tires on spare rims. Driven for two seasons, but only for <15km round trips for work. Best winter tires I've used so far.
This car was primarily used as a winter runabout so there are a few indications of this in the form of minor rock chips on the front end as well as the windshield. Nothing major however. It's also 20 years old and has it's share of parking lot battle scars. Just something to keep in mind.
Car is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be perfect for a student or someone looking for a simple A to B commuter. Or if you're looking for a cheap, reliable winter car early, now is the time to snag one. Has never left me stranded.
Purchased a new car so no need for this one.
Asking $1900obo
