i'm a business owner and you wouldn't believe how many of my customers who have small businesses with even less than 5 employees consider themselves CEOs. I think it's inaccurate to use that term unless you have a large corporation with a board of directors.

CEO of educational software company doesn't have Google?

NAICE!!!!

I disagree. The term doesn't have to be based on the size of the business. Hell look at Berkshire Hathaway. The businesses they own employs lots of people but they only have a small number in their head office. Imo you can call yourself whatever you want. Look at a car dealership and see how many managers are their.

Hakkaboy 09-14-2017 09:29 AM

I remember hearing on the radio that teachers salaries are based on educational "accomplishments".

So anyone can just go and get a University of Phoenix (or similar online school) MBA and get an auto-raise

I think that's a harsh scam, as there should be some sort of standard but there isn't

it just sounds silly though. you start a small business with a few employees and suddenly you're calling yourself a CEO... it's very common, mostly among business owners that want to pad their self importance.

Don't see any issues with this - it's like someone some being called a boss or owner of a company - it doesn't matter the size of the company, they are the owners.

It's ridiculous because the term CEO - Chief Executive Officer - implies there are several layers of management beneath them. If not, there would be no need for "Chief" or "Executive".

Most not-ridiculous companies I work with that do not have boards of directors typically use "President" for the owner or senior decision maker. Some family owned business also use "Founder".

I don't know why people think this guy is successful, just cause he claims to be a ceo/professor and other bullshit. Sounds like an amateur scammer got scammed by some pros

so a 50/60 year-old local man (who even tried running for mayor of a major metropolitan area for crying out loud) and not some naive 20 year-old new immigrant , actually believes there are short-cuts in life?

there are tons of shortcuts in life.. it usually involves coming out of the "right" vagina.

I googled "Kings Lake University"
Kings Lake University

That website is ESL as fuck - it seems immediately obvious that has been translated from another language.
