Is it photo ID? I never had one so I wouldn't know, but I had to use my passport once.. and got weird looks, but got in.

You can, but most places prefer drivers license or other government ID that they know of. The people are a bit noobs when it comes to nexus cards and don't know what it is and not sure if they can use it as an ID to enter

I wouldn't recommend bringing your only ticket back into your port of origin to the club (passport, trusted travelers card)
she can get a BCID if she doesn't drive

I was in Seattle and I tried to use my Nexus and it was denied.
I had to walk my ass back to my hotel and get my passport.
I doubt you can use the Nexus anywhere though. It isn't really a proper form of identification. It's essentially a membership card for travelling.

Nexus is not a form of ID. Technically is no.

In the states? No. I just came back from LA and I got turned away at a bar trying to use my DL. if youre not a citizen, you need to show passport. They cant accept foreign card IDs anymore - guessing because they cant really tell whats legit or not?
For here, it has to be govt issued. Not sure if Nexus is given by our govt? Depending what club they may take it if she has other cards with her full name on it too. Some clubs dont care but its always better to bring something legit like a passport if she doesnt have a BCID or a DL.

I've used my Nexus here locally (Casinos and BC Liquor Stores) they've been accepted.
Was not accepted in the states when I wanted booze in a bar, and was warned that it was the "last time" this guy at liquor store can use it as form of ID because no signature.
Have also used at a club in Taiwan.

I've used it no problems, but Drivers License is usually best.

| I think the bar was mistaken. Also there are 50 states in the US. I doubt a bartender has remembered how all of them look.

It's been a few years, but I used to use my Pleasure Craft Operators card as my secondary ID. Adding that I had "A licence to pleasure" would usually get a good chuckle from the door man. It doesn't include a photo but it is government issued.

Out of all the government IDs, it's probably the easiest one to fake.
