Chinese old school parents are never happy! You could be doctor making 100k and they’ll be like why not surgeon making 250k and it just keeps going from there.

Why would they want their kid to just be a brokeass surgeon?

I hate to be curt or sound condescending but seriously you are 30+-. You are old enough to be a parent. Do what you'd tell your future kid to do.

My grand parents on both sides were very impatient towards my mom or dad even after they got married.

The moment my mom gave birth to my older brother, everything changed for both sides.

My parents on the other hand, will be super happy as long as I find someone "breathing" (alive) xD! :(

Don't be fooled. "Traditional Parents" (or other similar terms involving "culture" and "tradition" and "old school) are just synonymous phrases for excused racism.

If you know someone with "traditional parents" they need to know that their parents are just racist, and hopefully it can be brought to their attention. If they are good people, they will change their ways (I've seen it happen)
