anyone have experience with mr rent a car

hi guys, just wondering if any of you have rented a car from mr rent a car before? good or bad? they seem to be the cheapest...i know..pay for what you get...any recommendations otherwise? thks

i did once. but that was 2 years ago.

They do a ton of ads for the chinese radio/tv so I am guessing they are getting a lot of business/renters.

Typical rental places, they will try to sell you a lot of their insurance/protection service. We rented a van and it was clean and not beat up.

thks for your reply...yeah i'm going to get the roadstar package for car rental coverage instead of buying their insurance from them...

Needed to rent a van couple months ago and found that Budget actually had the best deal somehow. Not sure if we lucked out but try to shop on each rental place's own website and see what you can find.

Always good to check what deals your various memberships may have. Places like Costco, BCAA, various credit cards, Aeroplan, etc., often have pretty good discounts for rental cars. Used to rent cars all the damn time and I had a couple memberships that gave me even better discounts than my corporate rate with work.

There's also Turo, though options here aren't as good as you would find down in the States.
