New Orleans

Going to New Orleans this weekend for a last minute trip. I was wondering what are some places I should go to for sightseeing, tourists, food, etc.

So far I got:

-Café du Monde for beignets and coffee
-French Market, Jackson Square, walk around the Mississippi River for sightseeing
-Acme Oyster House for chargrilled oysters
-Café Bon Ton/Emeril's Restaurant for Creole/Cajun food.
-Museum of Death/WW2 Museum for the history buff in me.

The French Quarter is a must see, if you want to have some drinks it pays to check out a few bars as they rotate which places has drink specials. The war museum is really good - you'll enjoy it. If you have time to get out on a bayou airboat tour, that is cool to see as well. Gator is tasty.

I was going to say, you better be going to WM, because otherwise now is the worst time to go there!

C&A Seafood for Crawfish by the pound. (Viet-Cajun place, it is my gf's favourite place to get crawfish when she lived there. Fuck, I want some crawfish now)
Willie Mae's for Fried Chicken.
Have a drink at the carousel bar.
French Quarter is packed Fri-Sun. Wear comfortable shoes cause the roads are shit.

Don't get played by people around Jackson Square. Had a guy come up to me and told me "I know where you got your shoes" (thinking of specific store) entertained his game for 5 bucks then he told me "I got them on my feet." Well played sir..well played.
