Traveling to Regina end of April for the weekend

Going Regina to visit a friend end of April for a weekend April 29 (Fri arrive around 5pm) and leaving on Mon April 30 (11am).

So looking to do something fun. Original plan was to stay in Regina on Sat and then Sun take a road trip somewhere. But her work schedule changes and she needs to work her night job on the weekends so no more road trip.

Since Regina is in the middle of nowhere and not much else to do. I am out of ideas. On Sat we plan to do go to Government House, RCMP Heritage Centre, Stone Hall Castle and dinner than catch a movie or something at night..... but since she is working there might not be enough time for anything to do after dinner.

Is still too cold for out door activities (just looking at the weather is around -8 to 7 degree). Any suggestions? Casnio there seems ok but is not something I think she is interested in. Was thinking about the Boomers Air Park but she doens't like it, Lumberjax Axe Throwing (nice idea and fun but they have limited time open), we both aren't into museum.

Check out Moosejaw, it's about a 45 minute drive from Regina.

There's the Tunnels of Moosejaw which is a network of underground tunnels previously used for rum running, a mineral spa, and some interesting eats.

Probably the highlight of my six month stay in Regina.
