As an employee, you represent your employer 24 hours a day 7 days a week no matter what. Any behavior on the part of the employee that may hurt the reputation of the employer at any time is the responsibility of that employee and the employer has full right to terminate employment upon any signs of bad PR due to the action of said employee. Most employment contracts have social media disclosures written in them. On the plus side, it keeps people accountable. On the bad side, videos may only show one part of the story.

This woman is all sorts of retarded(there I go making damaging hateful remarks on a public forum again) and now, due to her intolerance and desire to express it publicly, her life is done. As a white person in today's society I feel that all white people should know better than to spout off racist and bigoted remarks in public considering the context of the world today and what society is fighting for. I feel bad for her kids as they will take the brunt of it. There is no recovery from this, only the cards that society will deal to her from here on out.

In some respects she's right. We all do and say things in a fit of anger and then instantly regret it and most will apologize. Having said all that, I guess I feel somewhat shielded on a car forum setting as the user base is fairly unique so we can "get away" with a bit more on here rather than blasting our opinions all over Facebook where everyone including our employers, family, social groups, teams, classmates, etc hang out.

I can definitely relate to this article. Some white Canadians and Americans play the race card by thinking if you are Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc), you are a foreigner even if you are born and raised in North America.
