What's a good price nowadays? Seems like every year they're getting more expensive. Was 23.99/lb @ Osaka T&T yesterday. Almost pulled the trigger

Or rather a ton of them is being shipped elsewhere so less supply for BC.

Any good spot prawn recipes?
I plan on dropping good coin on prawns this weekend, and like to mix it up a bit.

$21.99 at Yat Ming on Kingsway. Cheap, but not sure how I feel about buying from them given their history.

Was over ambitious yesterday at T&T and got 2.5lbs for my wife and I. On it's own that's a decent amount but I had BBQ at home and by the time we were done it was already 10. Only managed to eat half and had to cut off the heads to preserve the shrimps for today since I wasn't going to freeze them. Used the heads and made a bisque which was bomb. My body is ready for more!

$20/lb still at the wharf beside Granville Island. Buddy hooked it up. Got nearly pound and a half and he only charged me for the pound. Meanwhile, the vendors at the market in Granville Island are selling for $28/29 and its guaranteed they'll charge you the exact weight.
