| Social gathering other than Meetup.com
Anyone here now of any social gathering places other than Meetup. Trying be more social and develop a social circle make more friends
I heard Facebook has few clubs but I don’t see any
Any guys know any for mid 30s asian guy that get together to do hiking, eat out, do activities, day trips to Seattle.....etc
I know Meetup has a few but wondering if there are any others

my friend who travels the world a lot says meetup is really good in really big dense cities. tons of choices, if one sucks u just leave and go join another.

WeChat group. There are a few groups I join that does BBQ/Events. Is mostly for dating but most people go for fun.

Agreed. I signed up for a few hiking groups when I went international traveling and so much activity and events within those groups. I didn't physically attend any because I could never get up in the mornings, but I could tell the social interaction within the groups are much more welcoming.
Locally I signed up for a few social groups and I notice they are extremely exclusive to the point, I find it stupid. E.g. One social group would make some dinner social gatherings and every time it's the same people attending and event will be full. Might as well just call each other out since it's the same fucking people, why even make a stupid event for it.
