A bit surprised that the officier didn't handcuff the guy after tasing him.

I feel like this clip would have been 10 seconds long if the crackhead was black and a few hundred miles south.

I know this isn't America but at what point do cops just pull the trigger?
could've been a different story if he had a knife and pull it out while wrestling the cop.

There have been situations locally as well as in the rest of Canada when the police target pulls out a knife. Sometimes they still only use taser, but generally speaking, if a knife comes out, the gun goes out as well and they'd shoot. Wasn't it a year or two ago when this happened at Starlight Casino (parking lot?), and the police ended up killing the knife dude?

Wrong. The individual they killed had a handgun.

Right -- the guy had a gun that time. But there have been other incidents when a person was carrying a knife, and the police shot him:

This was in 2016:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/briti...says-1.3853759

and of course in 2013, TPS Officer James Forcillo shot and killed Sammy Yatim when he was brandishing a knife.

See this is the problem with our culture right now. Idiots like yourself that think it makes sense for an officer to shoot a guy because he was trying to run away, unarmed. You truly think that mans actions elicited him being shot dead? That type of public mentality is the reason why cops are getting away with shooting people dead on the streets with little to no consequence.

Not one moment in this video did I think either individual should have been shot dead. Frankly I'm glad we have higher standards in Canada when it comes to RCMP officers utilizing deadly force.

I thought the problem with our culture right now was that we glamourize violence, promiscuity, drugs and general lude behavior. Followed by a severe lack of discipline.
But maybe that's just my opinion

Could have fooled me, I thought the prevalence of Honda Preludes has dropped precipitously since the early 2000s.
