I recently switched over to continental extreme contact DWS because they were on sale at canadian tire. michelines feel more stable in the dry and wet. continentals have been good in dry but feels a bit soft when doing sharp turns. Waiting for the rain to come to test them out and I did a lot of research on these tires and apparently do very well in the snow.

The new plus model is supposed to be WAY better than the origin A/S 3 which was indeed terrible in the snow. The Plus has better snow ratings than the DWS06 on Tirerack though looking at the tread I'm surprised at that - not a lot of lateral edges to bite on snow.

Alright, so a quick update.

I got these installed and went for a spin along the highway and through the city. These are a huge improvement over my Bridgestone Ecopia 422s. The Michelin's absorb a lot of the cracks, bumps, and road imperfections quite well. Handling feels great, and acceleration and braking are improved.

I should have got these a long time ago. These are awesome. Thanks, Revscene! Now I'm going to go street race in my Corolla and FWD drift against the kids on Mt. Akina. :fuckyea:

The AS3 is our best selling tire to date. Much better than the DWS with way less problems

What kind of issues were you seeing with the DWS?

We saw a lot of sidewall punctures due to them being thin. On the DWS06 we have not seen anything like that yet
