Chrysler couldn't build a motor or transmission back then lol but the K platform was damn impressive from a business standpoint.

Though speaking of GM minivans

Mother of God....

The only thing this could do well was kill you in a head on collision.

@!Aznboi128: Good luck if you find a vista roof wagon. Unfortunately, the wagon craze resurgence has driven up prices for most everything wagons.

Also: I park across a Chrysler 200 in my complex. They are an attractive car inside and out. I'm guessing quality / sales issues led to their death? Same with the Dart. They both died so quickly and were pretty much being given away by dealers.

YOOOOOOOOOooo

I actually really liked those vans before. Aerodynamic shape ftw! Yea, I know its hard to find a good big wagon these days but one can dream.

GM did a few things right like this 70s RV. FWD for a flat rear floor, independent rear suspension it all makes sense.

I do like how Crosstour looks lowered with some wheels but its not for everyone.
ZDX... I'm still on the fence

Okay, lets be honest.

Who here has searched craigslist right after this thread to find these cars? Can't be just me hahaha

twitchyzero 09-26-2018 12:21 PM

nope because Vancouver and it's hard enough finding space for one toy

I've actually been searching for cars like these for awhile but mostly to get a sense of market value (which varies hugely given location and condition).

Speaking of tall wagons. Nissan had a couple as well.

My cousin's family bought one of these ^ brand new. He kept bragging to me about how awesome it was to have sliding doors on both sides. He was right. A rare feature at that time.

Hondaracer 09-26-2018 01:50 PM

My good friends family growing up had a Chevy Lumina in silver, I haven’t thought of or seen that vehicle 15 years lol

Liquid_o2 09-26-2018 03:29 PM

I remember my mom looking at the Nissan Axxess. They were made up until 1996 for the North American market I think. This was around 2000, and she couldn't find any in good condition, so she ended up with a brand new Elantra Wagon instead.

- the styling doesn't stand out as much now, but in the late 90's - early 2000's it sure did. You either loved it or hated it.

Saw one of these on my drive home today, RHD, someones gotta love them to ship it half way around the world...

thumper 09-27-2018 08:08 AM

was feeling nostalgic and remembered another one.

the nissan sentra coupe was one of the cars i coveted when i was in high school (i'm an old fart). everyone thought i was nuts because the sentra was just an underpowered econobox oddball here in north america, but i had dreams of finding a rhd wreck of a RZ-1 from japan and doing a swap into a LHD chassis here... of course it never happened. sigh.

^ Are those the same as the Infiniti M30?

http://consumerguide.com/wp-content/...4041990002.jpg

thumper 09-27-2018 09:21 AM

not 100% sure, but the m30/leopard was a larger rwd platform, whereas the sentra/sunny was fwd (there was also 4wd as well)

!Aznboi128 09-27-2018 09:26 AM

Thinking about old Infiniti I really like the i30. A 4 door N/A 300zx was always cool

Liquid_o2 09-27-2018 10:25 AM

This went from a "weird cars that you like" thread to a nostalgia thread very quickly.

I always liked the Subaru Baja as a kid, especially in the two-tone colour

twitchyzero 09-28-2018 12:20 AM

damn, haven't seen those in a while
neighbour used to have one that colour..or at least a very similar trim

!Aznboi128 09-28-2018 04:59 AM

The adrenalin is pretty rare truck
