Worth 20 billion dollars and still couldn't beat cancer... What chance do we normal people have. I swear to god it's the damn food we eat. Cancer wasnt as big of the deal back in the early 20th century and now it's an epidemic

Life expectancy figures are often misleading because of a large amount of infant mortality.

We now live longer than we did before, and we're far better at diagnosing illnesses than ever before. Just because people didn't know they had cancer doesn't mean it wasn't what was killing them.

Even if you ignore that, I'd think all the second hand smoke from people smoking absolutely everywhere until the early 2000's would be a much more likely candidate for current cancer rates in anyone over 15ish.

Yes, I understand that. My point was that he already had this exact form of cancer before. It wasn’t a surprise as lymphoma is for most people so it’s surprising he wasn’t more on top of it.

Blaming a guy who just died of cancer for "not being on top of it" is not something I would want to do personally. Not knowing ANYTHING about the guy, other than how much money he has.

I'm sure he did whatever he could within his means. Sometimes you can't beat cancer, especially when you get it twice.
