Go look on YouTube and search “forgot windows password”. Many videos on it, just don’t know if any works. I’m not on windows so I’ve never tried. Good luck.

If you want the documents pull the drive, connect to another computer, take ownership, pull out documents.
BUT do this as a last step as you'd have to reformat and reinstall os after (unless it's changed)

What a complicated password,my password always has something to do with my birthday or some important day,so I won't forget it.you can install Offline NT Password & Registry Editor to remove the password or look at them .

You mean I can move files from the local computer to another computer before reinstalling the system, right?

Also hard for you to remember. Whats on your computer that's so important you need a long password?

Microsoft now recommends a 4 number pin instead of a password.

ophcrack is freeware. I've had great success with Windows 7, but I am not sure if it supports Windows 10. Google suggests it does, but I didn't dig any deeper

Using Ophcrack on Win 10 computer?I'm sure it will fail,my colleague told me, because he tried and failed.
