A Peek Inside The World's Most Crazy Log Cabin On Big White Just saw this on le reddit..absolutely crazy :lawl: https://luxuryresidence.ca/2018/10/2...ous-log-cabin/ https://luxuryresidenceca.files.word...it-lodge-1.jpg https://luxuryresidenceca.files.word...g?w=1140&h=760 https://luxuryresidenceca.files.word...it-lodge-9.jpg https://luxuryresidenceca.files.word...pg?w=757&h=505 https://luxuryresidenceca.files.word...4.jpg?w=700&h= |
These guys have even more pictures of it: https://www.pioneerloghomesofbc.com/...gallery/page/1 It was $9.2 million a few years back, then I seem to recall it being $7.9, then it was $6.8 and now it's $6.3. It's a gorgeous build but since it can't really be renovated unless someone is into massive logs it's a hard sell. |
landscaping leaves a little to be desired for 7 mill |
My jaw literally dropped. How many cocks do I gotta suck to get that |
You guys need to watch the TV show 'Timber Kings'. I think it was on for a few seasons. Their builds are unmatched. The wealth game is for real. |

It was built by pioneer log homes which the TV show timber kings was about. The show got goofy but man they build some cool houses! A friend of mine was the kitchen designer and won awards for it. The entire house has won a ton of awards actually. Definitely one he'll of a nice place. Not sure I'd want it in the middle of big white myself I think you can rent the house for events. |
Nice to use for a weekend ... a week at the most, but then it would get old really fast. With that asking price, you could save many millions, and rent it once or twice a year for the next 20 years ... why do you have to own it? |
That's a sick house, pretty sure we've seen it a few times we've been up to Big White. But damn, 7 mill for a place in Big White, outside of Kelowna? I could see someone spending that for a house in Aspen, Whistler, or a more desirable location, and I love skiing Big White. |
Cabin huh. Reminds me of the log cabin my buddies and I built as teenagers. He had a big property on the island. Just started chopping trees and stripping bark. When it was finally completed you could tell we had much more patience at the base then the top of the structure. Lol. Still “camp” in it to this day. Ohh except it’s smaller then that places front entrance. Ha |
Ohh and that seems like a steal compared to a 500sq/f condo at $2000sq/f in Vancouver. Lol. |
wonder if internet even reaches there....imagine going crazy without and completely bummed out you just paid 7 million for a place in the sticks |
Too subtle :P It's crazy but way too over the top, and I love the log cabin look. Pioneer is world renowned and their catalog, and the show, proves it. From an ownership/vacation property standpoint I can only the imagine the amount of wealth and ego it would take to tie up that kind of money on this. It's just so ostentatious and "look at me" that I can only see it as a rental to be honest, and that's not a bad thing. Could be a nice joint venture if the revenue stream is there. Not sure how popular Big White is compared to Whistler or similar though to attract that kind of wealthy client globally like Whistler could. |
looks like shit tbh location is even worse plant couple of termite larvae and it's donedees |

Kelowna is fine, but buttfuck nowhere is where Lomac lives/used to live. No electricity, running water, cell service, let alone Internet. He does, however, see neked hot chicks skiing in his backyard often............ I'd give up all the usual amenities for................. uh, maybe not. |
Kelowna is far from fine from a driving perspective. Every block has a set of lights, and they all seem to be timed to prevent any level of flow through traffic on the main drag. When my destination is Vernon, I will opt for the slightly longer (18 min, 41km) route through Kamloops just for that reason. /rant I like log homes, but this one seems a bit excessive. Sun Peaks > Big White :2finger2: |
I was working near Chetwynd once and saw the world's largest log home 56000sf on Moberly lake, which is truly in the middle of fucking nowhere. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/df/98...d32facae64.jpg |

covered in 5 feet of snow 5 out of 12 months a year landscaping :lawl: |
ya know.. there is landscaping that doesnt require maintenance or matter when it's covered in snow.. rock gardens, water features, etc. As well, for 7mill i would have expected some mature trees either left over or brought in, not $20 cedars i'm sure when they were excavating for the foundation they could have dug up the yard enough to plant larger trees etc. it just looks like it was poorly planned. |
Bump. I’m standing outside it right now, this thing is fucking insane in peeson |
