Thanks guys.

I wasn't planning on getting anything at all - didn't need anything, but then I posted about wanting to get an external harddrive and the rest is, well, including my wallet, history.

North Face parka for le gf and I - 40% off, no tax, with $100 in gift cards for SportChek
Samsung Evo U3 128 gb SD card for $35
Toshiba portable external HD for $70 (pretty meh but I needed something slim)
Sonicare Diamondclean toothbrush for $123 - was going to go for the $100 Oral B 6000 but couldn't pass up the huge savings on the DC as it's usually over $250!
Thinkware F200DG dash cameras for the sister
Not a purchase but also switched the folks' Shaw 150 internet plan onto the $60 BF special with free Netflix and upgrades to modem and the Bluesky box

Then spent the remainder of my cash and giftcards on a pair of Merrell ice boots that are normally $200, paid $54 out of pocket.

You guys and RFD are a dangerous bunch...

Not local but Harbour Freight's lowpro jack is amazing. I've had multiple friends borrow it for lowered vehicles. Usually on sale for <$100 with coupons. On sale now for $97.99 USD. Had mine for 4+ years and still going strong with no issues.

It's a slippery slope... even when you have brand new ice boots

I second this. I also have the 3-ton. It's perfect for most lowered vehicles. But the base of the 3-ton might be a little tall for some (like me LOL).

Two of my friends bought the 2-ton for their ITRs and the base of the 2-ton is lower than the base of the 3-ton.

The difference between the 2-ton and 3-ton aside from the base (where the handle mounts to) is the method of lowering. The 2-ton has a knob at the top with a handle shaped like a T, whereas the 3-ton you use the entire handle and it's just a pole.
