installed today
if anyone cares, battery supposed to last a year
surprisingly accurate, +/- 0.5 psi
my car doesn't have a temp gauge so this will be useful in the morning (tire temps), reads voltage has a usb port on the side and doubles as a emergency window breaker

where did you get it? Do you have to leave it plugged in or can you plug it in when you need?

too bad amazon canada doesn't have that colored screen version, seems like a handy for older 2005 trucks/cars that doesn't have air monitoring, nice to know if you have a slow leak.

def dont need the colour one unless you want to see voltage too

the sensor caps will probably run in trouble with the fashion police though..it's ugly enough on OEM wheels, it'll kill the looks on an aftermarket one

Read the reviews on amazon. Some say the metal inside that screws to the valve corrodes easily. Imo a digital tire gauge that you can store in your glove box and check the tire pressure every other fuel up at the station is a better option.

I may be wrong but I think that means it just needs to have the basic (ie worthless) system with a warning light, not actual readouts.

I might look into an internal set when my summer tires wear out.

Personally, I like them. Even the indirect TPMS system in my old Accord was helpful for finding a minor leak in a tire.

It's better than accidentally destroying a tire because you didn't discover a leak soon enough.
