For the past couple years my brother has been borrowing my E34 to get around, he finally found himself a replacement so I can take it back — a 1991 EF with 102,000 KM ! Dealer serviced, Typical Milano PINK paint (going to see what I can save with the DA polisher and go from there), Roof will need to be wrapped or resprayed... but no rust, a minty interior and the D15 will be great for these current gas prices.

So far I need Clear corner lights, RR taillight (cracked), a rear seat-back that isn't faded at the headrests, and some Mugen MR5's or TE37's :D Anyone with EF parts please HMU.

LOL, I did it =) i registered this. Interesting, but ICBC registered it as ubilt/altered. Probably, even easier for me. Was a bit of a dance to make a BC VIN number....

Looks is a bit rough, but mechanically good.

I had imported from Japan. Called Mitsuoka zero 1, i believe it was a factory only build. Read a bunch of stuff regarding kit cars, while dealing with it. A bit tricky. If the kit car is more then 15 years old, the rules are applied in the same way as you importing an ordinary car (so it does not matter by whom it was build at this point).

If you building the car yourself here, you must have all receipts on frame and drive train(to prove that it was not stolen). And then you apply on BC VIN program, as I, finally Vehicle Inspection

In Iran now, trying to fix up my late father's cars.
While everyone here is concerned about Trump's attack and the aircraft carriers down south, I'm worried about finding parts for these two EleGiggle

I was in Iran 10 years ago and noticed a lot of nice classic American muscle and vintage Merc's. Pretty cool that you are looking to restore them. I think your best bet is to find someone in Turkey to source the parts for the Merc. I found a lot of parts in Turkey for my C123 but shipping is expensive to Canada. Good luck man. Nice to see a fellow Persian on the forum.

Will be easy to find parts for the Benz, Mercedes still manufactures them. The 280 engine was used throughout the Benz range and can still be serviced with new parts. The Dart, maybe not so much. What is it like getting parts shipped from Europe to Iran?

Thanks dude. Yeah, there are quite a few classics kicking around here and the owners take care of them properly. Turkey is a good call, but that might be difficult now as the country is under sanctions.

Yes, Merc parts are relatively easy to find here, popular cars back in 70s and 80s. Outsourcing is not very good at the moment, sanctions affect a lot of importation and things get stuck in the customs. FailFish

For now I found a set of OEM 14s for the Merc and replaced them with the 17s that were on the car, they were too big.
