I fuarkin love how vivid the orange is on a winter backdrop. And how clean snow wheeling keeps it

This is from the first snowfall last week.

Just did a super lengthy 2-step detail on the E55 AMG. Prep, cut, polish, then Powerlock sealant + 845 wax. Also, ceramic coating for the restored headlights, black trims, and fender liners. Ready for spring.

@richardmozis
how long did that 2 step take you?

The whole detail took me more than 25 hours to complete. The cutting step took up quite a bit of that time as this car has never been corrected since new. It had pretty significant swirls from dealer washes. it's still not perfect. I also removed the fender liners to clean and coat them which added a few hours. I polished the brake calipers and detailed the wheel barrels among other excessive OCD stuff.

It's fun to do your own car and take your time but I have a new respect for professional detailers who have to get that perfect finish while balancing schedules.

You polished your brake calipers? Larry Kosilla (Ammo NYC) would be proud. :lawl:

Entrax, your composition is great! No real camera needed!

The pic was taken with a "real" camera though. Mud slut!

Maserati doesn't come with a membership to the hairdressers' society though

Literally the most popular wheel on earth for imports.

I just can't wrap my head around 5k wheels on a 50k car for some reason.

Maybe cause it's weight reduction, reputable for being strong, and has a good resale value.

I can’t imagine $1000 cheap cast wheels on a $50k car. You obviously never driven a car with lightweight wheels before😱
