^^ LOL both of these will get VI-ed so fast if they ever dared showing their faces in Vancouver now. :( |
lol one of them did..... |
Here's my experience; 1st child - 2014 Mazda CX-5 - felt like driving a sedan in town (less body roll, more sporty-like driving). If I only had 1 child, I would buy the CX-5 again, or even look at the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid (due to our higher gas prices) 2nd child - Traded in CX-5 and went with 2015 Toyota Sienna SE TECH version. Back then it was $43,000 before taxes (I think it went up $4,000 in price) (I'm going to be upfront and say it's just WAY MORE practical) - I also drive the in-laws, so I needed the extra seats AND they needed to be comfortable sitting in the 3rd row AND I needed cargo space. Check and Check - Sliding Doors (chances of your kids opening the door and dinging the car next to you? practically 0%, and I say again, PRACTICAL) - Cargo Space (remove the 2nd row seats, fold down the 3rd row, and you've got yourself a Cargo Van). I recently picked up 2 Ikea Glass Detolf Cabinets Pre-built and it fit in the Minivan effortlessly. - Fuel efficiency (not the greatest. I'm averaging 14.5L / 100KM, with a 78 Litre tank, I can only get about 500KM |
Yeah, that's what I'm getting on fuel economy on my Sienna SE. I got a 2014 and managed to get it for $41K taxes in. I really liked the 2015 interior look but the price on the 2014 was too good compared to the price increase on the 2015. Wish I did get the 2015 for the rear entertainment system, but didn't think it was worth it considering the price I was getting the 2014 for. |
My fuel economy is 12L/100km on the Odyssey. Mostly city driving, automatic climate control on most of the time. Get about 600km before the light comes on. |
in case anyone's considering the 1.5T CR-V and isn't aware of the design flaw they patched it with software lol...goes to show even the biggest enginemaker can screw up royally |
