They didn't get vi? |
Don't get it |
What does this have to do with Vancouver? |
Where's the tank and the not peaceful part? |
A quick search says it's something about Buddhism? |
This is the fa lun gong people. I'm sure the Chinese Communists in the city love seeing these guys. |

These guys are fucked in the head. Here's how this goes CBC's (Canadian born Chinese) doesn't give a fuck about what happens back home. New immigrants who are planning on staying here also don't really give a fuck. Most of the new immigrants all come with money made with or because of the Chinese Communist government. The last thing they care about is some fa lun gong idiots and their dream of democracy. Old immigrants who are now citizens also have more immediate concerns than something happening in the homeland. Basically nobody gives a fuck. Maybe the occasional salty Taiwanese. But mostly all mainlanders could care less. |
hope they got smashed by tanks |
https://media.npr.org/assets/img/201...-s1100-c15.jpg that float looks just like the chinese tanks LOL these falungong are loaded with money... they are sorta like Mormons of Buddhism |
For those that are curious on who they really are... Had a lengthy discussion with a buddy, and the Fa Lun Gong is basically a group of cock-roaches that just doesn't die. Their parades and mob-flashing serves a purpose to them. They make sure to photograph themselves taking part of the parade- at which point they prepare these as evidence and proof of participation. THEN, they apply to the government for refugee status and all that bs. Now, when they apply, they can now tell the government that they are seeking refuge in Canada because they have polarizing political and religious views from the PRC (People's Republic of China. That the PRC is suppressing their voices and prosecuting them, and violating their freedom rights. What are they getting the government to do? to grant them PR, and followed by the Green Card, or citizenship. The Fa Lun Gong pulls this scam all over the world, DT San Francisco, Times Square in NYC, etc. My 2 cents |
Yeah, these Falun Gong people are annoying. If they see a CBC, they can think that they can pass one of their cheap looking pamphlets. One Falun Gong lady tried speaking to me in Mandarin last week as I was going into the Oakridge station at Canada Line. I just trolled her by saying "I speak English and Cantonese" . Then I said to her in Canto "Try speaking to the kids driving Ferrari, Lambo". She just stood there with a blank stare. :lawl: |
Don't forget this is part of their campaign of enlightenment/propaganda: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cu...ld-of-shen-yun https://www.shenyun.com/data/image/o...b2d5cff933.jpg |

While I absolutely thinks Falun Gong is a scam, it also never ceases to amaze me how super well organized and well funded they are. One example of their exceptional organization skills is the Santa Claus parade. They are always one of the most well-trained and disciplined groups going down the street. It takes time, effort, and practice to get everything right, and they almost always nail everything. Falun Gong also runs -- or at least have serious ties -- to the Epoch Times newspaper as well as NTDTV (New Tang Dynasty Television). While I think both media are absolutely worthless and lack credibility, they are also one of the few Chinese media that will occassional report many truthful brutalities and severe human rights violations committed by Mainland China. The problem is, because they also regularly spew way too many lies and ridiculous claims, it becomes impossible to believe in their reporting since the truth is mixed in with tons of stupid shxt. Running either type of media in this day and age requires a serious and continuous amount of funding. But they just keep on chugging away at it. I find that unbelievable. |

Whole play is apperently anti-communist propaganda but you don’t really get the full depth of it as some ignorant white Canadian lol |
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Falun Gong seems to be trying to promote peace and spiritual enlightenment. What is wrong with that? They're against the communist party, which to me is a great thing. Are they really that bad? Or have sheeple like Gallardo up there been raised by assholes to hate a group that really doesn't cause any issues? Go ahead and hate ISIS, but why not leave these little religious fuckers alone. Hypa, do I have to Wikipedia your ass? :p Read the New Yorker Article I posted above the picture, it's about Shen Yun but it touches a bit on Falun Gong and it's controversies as well. Here's a tidbit: Quote:

The promotion of peace and spiritual enlightment is a front that they try to sell, and in many cases, many people buy into that. IMO, the problem is they work relentless hard to try and sell a lot of lies. As one example, Falun Gong publications often boast about how corrupt the CCP is (which is true), and that tons of Communits party members have resigned from the CCP. However, the number of people they claimed to have resigned from the CCP is at times larger than the total number of CCP members there has ever been. In other cases, the so-called "news" they report are often total untruths. Or their reporting could be based on wild conspiracy theories. If someone you talk to would intentionally lie 60% of the time, while pointing out truths that nobody else dares to mention the remaining 40% of the time, how would you deal with that person? For me, because I cannot tell when the other party is lying or not, the only reasonable thing is to ignore what the person says regardless of whether there is any truth in the stuff they say. Quote:

Can we get them to bring F1 to Vancouver? |
Damn, so the comment about them being the scientologists from China are pretty apt. Having grown up in Vancouver I've seen the FG often over the years. Thanks to cultural and language differences, gwailos don't get to see a lot of what they do. I just found it strange that they're being attacked by so many people who I consider to be intelligent. It had to come from somewhere. Gallardo is still a jackass though... |
You know you have a shitty cause when 50% of your participants aren't ideological 22 year old white SFU students. |
they just need a catchy "Free Tibet" type of bumper sticker. |
