Democratic Primary 2019-2020

Anyone else watching these debates? I'm really excited to see the result this time around... might be putting some money down on who I think will win this soon

Unless he gets impeached first.

This time we get to see his tax returns.

I can honestly see this happening. And after Term #1, I am not at all opposed Trump carrying on. In fact at this point, I'd even go as far as to say that I'd prefer to see Trump doing a 2nd term than having any of the current Democrat candidates even though I think he is a despicable person.

Been hearing this for well over a year? He ain't going anywhere. :lol

Ulic Qel-Droma 07-31-2019 01:58 PM

trump will get impeached in his 4th term lol

unit 07-31-2019 02:08 PM

repubs will do anything to win, no matter how dirty.. if it were a fair fight, dems would win for sure, but with the voter suppression, gerry mandering, and now inviting foreign interests to interfere with the elections, i wouldn't be surprised to see trump have another term. his freedom relies on it, because otherwise he's going to get indicted for tax evasion and all sorts of other things once he's no longer president.

At this point, it seems trump term 2 is likely... But there's still a long time to go

-Free healthcare for illegal immigrants!
-Open borders!
-Increase taxes for everyone!
-Reparations!

With a platform like that, Trump doesn't even need to campaign.
Funny the only sane (moderate) democrats running don't have the popularity to fill a swimming pool.

welfare 08-01-2019 05:55 AM

Anyone else find it ironic that these debates were held in a once great now bankrupted, crime ridden, third world dirt pile that's been under Democrat rule for the last fifty years?

Guess it's a good thing nobody is advocating for all of those things

I think the point of having it in a state that isn't doing so poorly is to shine a light on the economic issues that still plague the country.

Also, regarding your point on how Detroit is now a shit hole because of 50 years of democratic rule - do yourself a favor and do a google search of the legislatures of the poorest states in all of the United States - that's right - all Republican.

The economy is only doing well from a stock market perspective - which is not indicative of how the overall population is doing. This economy is really only working for a small percentage of people who actually have enough money to invest in the stock market. Even Laura Ingraham believes this when talking with Andrew Yang.

Nlkko 08-01-2019 09:40 AM

Yang is the only intelligible Dem candidate that I can support. The rest of them are just sad, repeating the same shits they said years ago, only more extreme. They are trying to replicate Trump, who cannot be replicated.

If Yang doesn't win the Dem nomination, Trump will get a second term, fair and squared.

America really needs engineers, no matter which side, with long term visions to run the country, building on top of each other, rather than career politicians trying to undo all the shits every 4 year. China, no matter how you feel about them, has had great successes in this regard.

unit 08-01-2019 01:37 PM

yang can't galvanize the dems the way that bernie can.. bernie has an actual movement behind him, yang is not going to be the right one to unseat trump.

well the dems aren't really smart. Should they support bernie last time Trump wouldn't even stand a chance.

No, these aren't national problems. Or even statewide problems. They can easily be localized.
I'd say murder rate is a pretty good indicator of what constitutes a shit hole, wouldn't you?
Here's a list of the 30 top major cities in the us with The highest murder rates.
https://bismarcktribune.com/news/nat...c065352.html#9
Of these 30, the top 20 are all run by democrats. EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Consumer confidence index is the highest it's been in decades.
Household income has hit an all time high.
Unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in 50 years.
I'd say that's working for more than just "a small percentage of people".

Show me the data that refutes this. Not just a secular talk video.
