Isn't it too little too late? Last time I checked sedan sales tanked and no one is buying them. You rarely see any new Mazda 6 around or any new tlx. Still a few new accords around.

It doesn't really look any different than the current TLX to me... looks like a concept for the TLX

Sportback seems to be the latest trend ... it has the rear slope/coup lines for it but I wonder if it is. I see traditional trunk opening in one of the pics.

Here's what the normal TLX (bottom pic) would probably look like

possibly living up to the badge and not just diluting it like BMW's M division
being a honda i think there's a good chance for a traditional stick shift (they recently just added it for the civic hb sport touring)

Haha so the CSX Type-S wasn’t diluting the badge?
I mean none of these cars are real performance cars as long as they’re FWD

Give me a break you’re not seriously going to argue FWD is superior to RWD for performance are you? Jesus....
Any performance oriented FWD car is spending a good deal of its tuning and potential just trying to diminish/overcome the fact that it’s FWD.
And yes, slapping the Type-S badge on a Civic Si is the definition of diluting something.

every platform has its shortcomings
Type-S is just a sporty trim like Si, it's not a homologation like Type-R from the yesteryear
diluting would be putting Si badge on a Pilot/Passport with a body kit

diluting would be putting Si badge on a Pilot/Passport with a body kit | Pretty much what AMG and M is now. My neighbour just bought the new X3M.
