The NHL streaming is crap. I don’t really watch much of other sports these days, so can’t comment on them. |
I pay $35 a month that includes all the major sports and regular cable channels. I value live sports way more than shows and movies that can be downloaded through torrents. |
I use Netflix, a Chinese website (they mostly have movies, TV shows from China, HK, Korea, Japan, English with Chinese subtitles) and now Disney +. |

Also their app and the browser window seems know when you are casting to an Apple TV etc because the app works perfect on a phone or iPad but the second you try to cast it it shits the bed, like it works so poorly I can only suspect there is some programming to try and prevent it. I’ll pay for the convenience of not having to worry about a stream etc. And just flick the TV on and watch |
Not that I'm for it but I wonder if they would ever use a consumption model. For sports for instance I only watch the seahawks yet I'm technically being priced for access for all the other games available that week. You could watch 5 full games a week for $250 USD where I only really care about 1 game/week. There are weeks where I dont even open netflix. Also it was mentioned earlier but netflix is taking a real look into account sharing across households. I read they may be looking into device caps. |

Telus. I pay $90 monthly no contract for fiber internet 150 and regular cable + sports. I usually call the retention department and get the provider's to undercut each other. |

for anyone that does subscribe to disney+ go through itunes store to buy. if you use the costco $80 for $100 gift card as payment it comes out a lot cheaper |

I'm checking it out. Nice selection. Kinda curious how it'll run on Roku/older Android tablet doesn't support it/Phone works fine/PC all good. |
Used to be so much simpler when it was just Netflix... now I only have Amazon Prime because I wanted free shipping. I've only used it for streaming a couple of times. Went back to torrenting instead. With software like Sonarr and Radarr, I don't even have to visit the torrent sites anymore. It's just easier for me, don't have to figure out which service streams what, don't have to sift through the crap to get to what I want to watch, don't have to wonder if what I'm watching is still going to be there the next week, etc... |
Some shows, cartoons, are missing episodes, don't know the reasoning for it though Simpsons is missing the MJ episode "Lisa it's Ur birthday", Simpsons eps are cropped 16:9 too, so the first 20seasons look weird Quote:

What a fucking joke |
Simpsons predicted the future of TV |

i pirated it as most likely everyone else. Samsung smart tv owners had huge issues with the streaming app,Blacked out screen with subtitles going, color banding issues of the video ruining on them, they kept having to reboot the app the entire show. said it was a nightmare and kinda pissed as hell paying for something broken. |
I got it for 3yrs when it was first announced... something like 3.xx USD per month for 3years (paid in advance of course). I think it's great for anyone with kids as the contents in there are massive as far as kid-friendly material goes. But I don't think I'd ever pay 10bucks a month or whatever they are charging right now. |

How's the quality on those shows anyway? If they have Muppet Babies in good quality, I am subscribing the moment they're available to me. |
They have the new muppet babies (CGI show) and muppet movies and that adult muppet series that was on abc? for a bit, not the old muppet babies cartoon The older 90s Disney shows look worn, old dvd/VHS quality for some of them, I dunno if kids nowadays could be drawn into it |
