	        | 2019 Boxing Day

Black Friday has surpassed Boxing Day as far as deals are concerned, but nonetheless, the tradition continues, sort of............
First time ever, Cambodian Tire (asshole who failed me last time, because I used the word Cambodian, can fuck right off) is having a 50X CT Money event December 26. 60X, if you use your CT Mastercard. Not bad. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/trian...omote_19352_en
Anyway, if you catch wind of other good boxing day sales, post in here.
Sadly, IKEA has stopped their Boxing Day promos. I remember lining up for $50 off $200.00 and free breakfast. Too bad. In a way, I'm thankful.
I plan on hitting some record stores. Neptoon, Red Cat, Audiopile, etc.

Need to pick up a new daily jacket as I got a new job and now have to take transit; whereas before I could drive right to the office with my blazer. Cold in the mornings. Eyeing either a North Face or Lululemon jacket, not looking to spend more than $350.

If you have to wear something formal or uniform underneath, my suggestion is a good shell that provides good protection against elements like rain/wind/snow... etc because usually it's not the temperature as whatever you are wearing is decently warm already. It's the elements taking any warmth away from you.
When I was living in Toronto, I had to take transit and wear suits. I had (well, still have... just don't use them often here in YVR) both a Arc'teryx Gore-Tex shell for Spring/Fall and a CG parka. (got both of them for like 30%+ discount at Sporting Life... we need those here) and with those I managed to survive comfortably with sub -30 windchill.

Back to topic... any decent 8TB+ NAS HDD? Shuck happy external drive is good too

			MEC branded stuff suckssssss
I would buy pretty much any other equivalent brand. At their price point Lululemon absolutely shits on MEC branded stuff for activewear etc

3-4 hundred bucks less than it was on Black Friday. Going to have to pull the trigger.

there's now a Sporting Life location at the Awful Brentwood
how's $1.8k for a LG laundry all-in-one...i know they're not ideal but I don't have space, full-sized and spins 1300rpm, hope it's reliable (built in Korea) https://www.costco.ca/lg-5.0-cu.-ft....100483055.html
someone on craigslist same model sitting in storage out-of-warranty wants $1.3k

I’m looking for a bunch of stuff:
- Guest bed (frame, box spring, mattress ... probably double size? Queen is too big for the guest bedroom)
- Wireless gaming mouse
- Monitor has been acting up lately so probably that (8 bpp, IPS/VA panel, 1440p/4k, 27-32”, prefer higher refresh but not much choice at 4k)

Jokes aside I got a North face 3 in 1 jacket and it keeps me warm pretty much through out winter in Van. The good thing about it is that I can wash in my washer.
