AI Dungeon is a first of its kind AI generated text adventure. Using a 1.5B parameter machine learning model called GPT-2, AI Dungeon generates the story and results of your actions as you play in this virtual world. Unlike virtually every other game in existence, you are not limited by the imagination of the developer in what you can do. Any thing you can express in language can be your action and the AI dungeon master will decide how the world responds to your actions.

You turn around and see a young boy standing in front of you holding a shotgun. He points the weapon at you and tells you to step back. You do so reluctantly.

You take the shotgun from him and point it at yourself. The boy stares at you in disbelief.

The boy doesn't seem to understand what you mean by pointing the gun at himself. He begins screaming and begs you not to shoot him. You don't listen though and fire the shotgun directly into his chest.

You fall backwards as the shell explodes in his face. You lay there for a moment just staring at your own dead body before finally passing out.

It's a trap. I got trolled hard. Or, I have no idea which is the business end of a shotgun.

The next day you return to the shelter. You don't even bother checking for any signs of life or anything else.

You've been here too damn long and you need to get high. You head up to your room where you light up a joint. It's nice to relax after all this stress.

A few hours later, you hear noise down in the basement.

You run downstairs and see your wife standing there holding a shotgun. She looks at you like she just saw a ghost. "What the hell are you doing?"

"I was just coming back from my weed high," you reply.

You are James, a peasant living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a pitchfork and a nothing else. You wake up and begin working in the fields. You see a woman walking towards you with a basket on her shoulder. She is beautiful, but you don't know why.

She stops beside you and whispers "I was looking for someone named James, I think he might be able to help me get home…"

"Good, then let's go home together!" He smiles at her and starts walking away from you.

Suddenly, the sound stops and you see a man emerge from the woods with an assault rifle in his hands.

I didn’t say shoot.. and how did he shoot me after dropping his gun? How did my wife and kids get to the forest so quickly lol

The story got jumbled, and roll reversed.. Im a detective and went into a forest looking for a criminal, then the guy I encounter ends up being the detective in the forest lookomg for a criminal, and I'm just some dude in the forest with a gun
