While we are on this topic that's off topic. I'm possibly looking for a bidet in the next few months where did you guys buy yours? I used it before in Japan. I always felt it wasn't as 'clean' as good ole' fashioned wipe. Even after the spray I still wiped as if I didn't spray. lol what a topic inside the Covid thread. |
^ I'm curious too, I've had them in my hotel on Korea but never really played with them. The warmed toilet seat was nice. And I wasn't sure how to use it, won't you still have a really wet ass. I don't think the air will dry that fast? |
A very long time ago I didn't even know what a bidet was and all the instructions were in a foreign language. I kinda pushed a few buttons and I watched in slow motion as the tube extended out... like the idiot in that Prometheus movie staring at the alien I leaned forward and the bidet squirted all over my face. I was so worried for the rest of the week that I was gonna get pink eye. |
Costco stocks a basic one in store for around $100. They also carry various models online ranging from $100 to $1000 last time I looked Probably best to buy from Costco as they are probably the only place that will take a bidet as a return lol Edit* you still gotta wipe your ass but your just getting it dry, not wiping the shit lol.. |

i'd buy it from costco as well, also if you have a toilet with a 'french curve' like hardly any bidets work with them. |

We recently bought a Toto bidet at Costco in-store for about $540. It's not always stocked, so you'd be hard pressed to find one available now since I had bought the last one at the time. I ended up returning it for a Brondell bidet at Costco.ca that was on sale for $380 down from $540. Comparing the two, the Brondell had a dryer function and had a nicer looking remote, lol. Saving $160 sealed the deal as well. The Toto bidet was made in Malaysia while the Brondell is made in Korea if that matters to anyone. There was no plug by our toilet so I added a circuit with a GFCI outlet. Since it's powered, we have heated water as well as a heated seat both with adjustable temperatures. Not sure about TP consumption since we only moved in last week but I imagine it would be slightly lower already. 10/10 would recommend Edit: Forgot to mention the Brondell has a blowdry function as well. It's no Dyson Airblade but it's another feature that the Brondell has over the similarly priced Toto unit. |
At Aberdeen in Richmond, there is a specialty toilet seat, bidet store ... I think. Right at the entrance from the parking lot main level, close to the Beef Jerky side/wing. At least it was there pre-Covid. Never set foot in there but thought that knowing where it is would come in handy one day. Today is that day. |
Bought our bidet from Home Depot and amazon |

Finally! Tax the fucking rich! |
Everyone hates on that guy. I like him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but I don’t pay much attention to politics |
I thought this guy was honestly trying to own up to his mistakes, but then I looked at his actual FB post. https://globalnews.ca/news/7558519/l...vid-19-abroad/ https://images2.imgbox.com/02/a4/D4STPmre_o.png The government is to blame for him choosing to fly to a different country and contracting COVID, in spite of recommendations against any non-essential travel? :fulloffuck: |
Government: Stay home, don't travel Idiot: Travels Idiot: This is your fault! |
Yeah, not sure how he came to the conclusion that the government is to blame... |

I guess all im saying is slippery slope. |
I wouldn't say the lock down isn't working, it's the half assed lock down that isn't working. Cuz everything was still essential. And they implemented the curfews too late. I read some article saying, they needed to do an amputation but rather than do it with a sharp knife they rather use a dull one. I said it a few months ago, with these half assed do nothing measures eventually they will have no option but to full lock down cuz they can't control it/ unwilling to. |
