they literally did ask if you are an influencer or not. these were absolutely sold to the public to be rolling Ford billboards.

i love the idea that rich dudes got rejection letters from Ford. Finally something money can't buy.

expecting people to honour binding contracts is LOL? what are you talking about? that's what a contract is.

Made me think about the Saturn EV1 that was lease only. GM took them all back and crushed them.

hey - not looking to scrap with you at all, but i respectfully disagree.

every other manufacturer is selling to the highest bidders. Porsche was selling 911r's for double the asking price as a "market adjustment". Some of those cars will never be seen again. Ferrari won't even let you own a halo car unless you're a big time collector. You literally buy cars you don't want to game your way to an allocation.

Ford said no - you can't have this if you're just going to hide it away, or try to double/triple your money without even taking possession of the car. And the best part is they are backing up that stance with this legal action (the Cena thing was huge)

Nobody who's an enthusiast wants the Sultan of Brunei to buy up all the cars they can possibly make. They made these because the die hard blue oval super fans wanted them - and if you could prove you were one of those fans, you didn't have to fight with the ultra rich to get one.

I wouldn't buy any ford even if you held a gun to my head - but I absolutely love them for this

I am sick and tired of flippers and car manufacturers. It's become a pain in the ass to buy a new car. The last new car I tried to buy was a Dodge Demon. Only one of the 2 Dodge dealerships in Nanaimo got one and they sold it to SR Auto to flip. SR Auto had put down a deposit only a few hours before I put mine down.

I find great humour in the words “could of” being followed by “wordsmith”.
