I think there would be a Pearson trade soon which is why they added Vesey, that being said he's a perfect pick up to play bottom 6 for having to give nothing up to get him.

Also its JB if you expect him to do the right thing, prepare to be disappointed. Pearson has expressed interest in staying. Watch him get resigned long term lol!

Fuck they better trade Pearson, I have nothing against him in particular but that’s part of the problem — he never stands out. His vision is lacking and he doesn’t create anything.
Most importantly though? He’s going to decline soon and Podkolzin is almost assuredly his immediate top-6 replacement even though they don’t play the same wing.

Given his injury his value is low and it’s very hard to find cheap, effective, bottom 6 guys like him. Should give him a 2-3 year deal and forget about it

good start, dismal the rest of the game. we got lucky sens couldnt score in shootout.
it's like the canucks put the game on snooze once it was 2-0. tried to coast their way to a victory but sens pushed too hard for that bs to work.

Im completely paraphrasing here but Friedman said something about how in the states u have a grace period where you're allowed to change employers(teams) without having the updated documentation to do so, where as in Canada theres no such grace period so it must be done first in order for him to play for a new team.
