Literally the "funnest" game I've ever played. May not be the best, but definitely so much fun, shit... I don't think I've ever played another game while literally LOL-ing like I did playing this.

3 was dope! 4 was pretty bad imo in terms of story
looks like their doing this because a new Saints Row game is coming out next year (its a reboot but with new characters/story) and Epic is going to have the exclusive on it first

Yeah, I played a good portion of 4, but it just wasn't as good.
If I recall, it was sort of like a digital world or something, that reused the SR3 map. But you started the game with incredible abilities already (or eventually get there pretty early in the game) so the game became kind of easy.
Also weapons and vehicles were pointless when you can just run faster than a car, super jump over buildings and glide in the air for long distances, and just bash everything like you're Hulk with overpowered physical strength.

I remember playing these off of DOS on our computer, all the innuendo's definitely flew over my head at that time. I can't believe my parents let me play it knowing what I know now. haha.

I used to do speed runs on Larry 1 when I played it over and over again. I didn't understand any of the sexual references. Lol
I always like/hated the quiz before the game to see if you're an adult. The answers are so simple, but as a kid, it always took me 2 tries to get into the Land of the Lounge Lizards.

Wow, I totally forgot about that.
I just had a cheat sheet, lol.

Never heard of it... Seems like it was too new school already.
Lol, my brother played the early 90's games, like:
Police Quest
King's Quest
Space Quest
Quest for Glory (highly recommended, I got into this series too)
Gabriel Knight (I actually just finished this last month, lol)
