Kind of reminds me of the movie "Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father" It's worth a watch. Then read up on the impact this film had. |
March 5th is going to be another spectacle, and not just in Canada. This is the date the protestors have chosen for a march somewhere (location(s) not yet disclosed), in addition it coincides with the arrival of the american convoy just outside of Washington DC. But forget all that, we will be celebrating 68style's birthday in RS Chat :toot: |
I was like dayam how did TOS’d know March 5 is my birthday… but no :okay: |

This got me pretty angry today. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/sen...logy-1.6359573 On the Ottawa residents upset about the convoy: Quote:
I tell you guys. The world is insane. Just insane. |
People are attributing the speech of Donald Neil Plett as having swayed the senate in favour of ending the emergency measures, forcing Trudeau to end it before they could vote on it: |
Pat King is denied bail. https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2022/0...pat-king-bail/ Cormac Mac Sweeney @cmaconthehill Replying to @cmaconthehill BREAKING: Convoy organizer Pat King has been denied bail. The Justice said he believes there is a high risk of King to reoffend, the allegations are serious and there is a likelihood of endangering public safety. He will be kept in custody as he awaits trial #cdnpolice The Crown has said that, in 2016, King was charged with uttering threats and ordered to hand over his firearms. Prosecutors went on to say that while he did as he was asked, days later, the 44-year-old proceeded to buy a restricted firearm. As Seymour delivered the ruling this afternoon, King sat in-person in the courtroom at the Ottawa courthouse, wearing a camouflage jacket over a grey hoodie and matching sweat pants. He shifted between hunching forward and leaning up against the wall behind him. |

So I saw a lifted truck with smoke stacks (ie the Maple Ridge Special) at a Walmart parking lot yesterday, and he had the Canadian flag stuck on his tailgate, but it was upside-down. Is that some new symbol? Because I thought it was pretty fucking disrespectful. |

People want to keep asking Elon for help, let's get him to launch this fucker into the sun |
Elon is cumming his pants over this guy. Anyone who fights against him being taxed he loves automatically. I’m sitting here in Whistler, with a pitcher of beer, girls in their bras dancing on chairs, about to go snowboarding in the backcountry tomorrow. Freedom is looking pretty fuckin free in this country. I don’t know what people are complaining about. If you aren’t having a good time here, it’s cause you’re boring. |
Please feel freedom to share pics/video |
Wouldn't it be funny if all the cyber attacks and sanctions on Russia meant nobody was making new memes to get FreeDummies riled up, and this movement just died because of it? KEKW |

Observations from Ottawa over the weekend: - tons of trucks driving east towards Ottawa, hard to tell if they are just truckers doing work or convoy supporters. likely just truckers working as there were none inside the city of Ottawa - drove by a handful of pickup trucks/jeeps with "mandate freedom", canada flags, and pro-gun stickers - city feels normal, no one harassing you if you walk around with or without a mask on - main streets around parliment hill continue to be blocked off - lots of police presense at the blocked off intersections - small group of protesters on parliment hill with canada flags tied to hockey sticks, something about children are not lab tests - saw one guy running down several blocks while screaming "freedom", i feel like someone bet him to do it, as he was running clearly to the hotel the police were using for their operations, like 15 police cars at least, and multiple officers around. once he got there, i could see police were talking to him, and then he stopped yelling and continued walking on - skated on the canal for the first time, 7km out of 7.8km was open, it was awesome and nice to see everyone else out there enjoying it. lots of families and kids too. - also the wind chill was cold AF - 10/10 would go again every year just for the canal https://i.imgur.com/nVdxdpo.jpg |

A flag flown upside down means "distress" or "danger". They're indicating they think this country is in danger. Its another thing that Q-Anon has co-opted to allow members to identify each other so they can meet down at the gas station glory hole or something. |
The country is in danger... from them lol Just so bizarre.............. |
I saw a bunch of these clowns as I was driving with my son this weekend. My son said "Look Daddy! Those trucks have a bunch of Canadian Flags on them!" To which I said "Son, those are morons" A little while later we drove by some more and my son says "Look Daddy, there's the morons!" :) |
