They keep pushing back Dune part 2. It was suppose to be sept, then they nov, and now its march 2024. fuck you screen actors guild strike

MG1 12-29-2023 08:35 PM

I knew about The Orville and always wanted to watch it, but it seemed so hokey at the time. Now that I subscribed to Disney+, I've been watching this series. It is hilarious. Sci-Fi Comedy. Just watched the episode with the Holo Porn Virus............ those Maclans............. gives whole new meaning to gay.

First season is straight up comedy, later seasons are more pure Star Trek, although with more comedy

MG1 12-30-2023 01:04 PM

I’m just getting into season two. All kinds of former Star Trek actors. Even Ted Danson is on it.

MG1 01-12-2024 03:25 PM

Damn.............. they're showing reruns of Resident Alien on Sci Fi Channel again........... that's because there's a season 3 of this sci fi comedy. So funny it is..........

Although the story takes place in fictional Patience, Colorado, it is filmed here in the Vancouver area (indoors), as well as, Ladysmith (outdoors).

La Brea is back for Season Three. OMFG! I had forgotten how bad this was................... not any better third time around.

I describe it as a cartoon but with actual actors

6793026 01-15-2024 06:22 AM

Loved Lost until they butchered it as the last few season sucked.

murd0c 01-15-2024 07:08 AM

I don't mind La Brea for what it is, I'm honestly surprised it was renewed for a third season tho.

MG1 02-07-2024 06:10 PM

I've been watching La Brea........... it's getting better.

Bored as usual, switched to Disney+, came across this show called, Strain. It's not bad. I originally thought it was a movies, but it's a sci-fi television series. At least three seasons from what I can see.

watched every season, every episode, 'cause my good friend's daughter was in it.

She went on to bigger and better things.

Walking Dead.......... another series. Franchise needs to die. Nuff said.............

Anyway, I went out and purchased the complete Stargate Atlantis on Blue Ray.

Hilarious. So many references to the Vancouver and BC area. In SG-1 they use cities like Kelowna. Actually filmed in the city of Kelowna. In one episode of Stargate Atlantis, actor says, "The entire VPD is looking for him....... He'll be found," lol. Other filming sites include SFU, Fantasy Gardens, Bloedel Conservatory, Art Gallery, Fort Langley, etc. Even Chinatown alleys............. recognize them right away.

I must've been living under a rock. Did not know Richard Dean Anderson is married to Amanda Tapping.

murd0c 02-27-2024 12:22 PM

That must be an interesting rock since Amanda tapping is married to Allan Kovacs and RDA has never been married lol

MG1 02-27-2024 02:22 PM

That's what I get for believing anything on the Internet, except RS, of course.

Only for that 1 episode of SG1.

MG1 02-28-2024 05:27 PM

Tapping Amanda………..

MG1 04-04-2024 07:04 PM

Totally forgot about Star Trek: Discovery. Shaw PVR remembered I recorded previous seasons............ never really liked the series.

Anyway, season 5 episodes 1 and 2 on CTV Sci-Fi channel.

Badhobz 04-04-2024 07:18 PM

Best shit right now is shogun. Utterly fascinating and beautiful

Watch it !!!!

MG1 04-04-2024 07:20 PM

Got excited about this being on CTV Sci-Fi but Telus only has it in standard definition. Boooooo! At the same time I don't really want to pay $10/mo for Paramount Plus.

MG1 05-28-2024 02:16 PM

Been watching reruns of Surreal Estate on Sci Fi Channel. Season three has been given the go ahead.

It's a series shot here in Canada. St. John's NFL and Labrador. The house that Susan Ireland buys. Kind of house I'd die for, sans the creepy AI speaker.

Luke Roman. The guy with the hella good hair.
Susan Ireland. Older chick with nice bouncy tits.
Younger chick (can't recall name right now) with the nose ring. Obnoxious as all hell.
The gay former priest and his husband (gotta have one of those).
Cool black guy. The ghostbusters tech dude.

Anyway, watching season two, episode one.

murd0c 05-28-2024 02:32 PM

have any of you watched Atlas yet? It's getting bad reviews but I watched it on the weekend and really enjoyed it.

I thought it was super lame.

What's hilarious is that JLo does not need the money, so she really wanted to do this :lol

MG1 08-24-2024 06:04 PM

I've been watching Fallout on Prime. It's one of those weird enough to be good, series.

I love the music and the subtitles. Helps identify the music being played in the background.
