There is more stress playing in a Canadian hockey market than there is in the US market. Hockey is not their number one sport. I dont think it even cracks the top 3. Media down there cover more NFL, MLB, NBA.
I think even if we take the most die hard US franchises it won't even compare. On a fan level in the arena yes it might feel close if not even more i.e. sold out games, crazy fan engagement, booing, cheering etc but anything outside of that is where it'll pale in comparison. Media coverage, amount of fan engagement online, radio etc.

I think he's going to play great there with some top line wingers. They have all their top forwards locked in for a few years. With the exception of Varlamov, all the pending UFA/RFAs are all league minimum contracts. On paper, they look like they are in the window to compete.
But I hope they finish 12th last to get us that extra draft pick.

Anthem singer in New Jersey did a fantastic job of both anthems. Good pitch control, well centred, good phrasing, and no unnecessary embellishments. Whats with today's anthem singer? In tune, but barely.............the worst kind. People with relative pitch might be able to deal with it, but those with perfect or near perfect pitch be cringing.
The New York Rangers acquired forward Vladimir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, Sportsnet can confirm.
In return, the Blues are reportedly receiving winger Sammy Blais and at least one draft pick. Defenceman Niko Mikkola is going with Tarasenko to the Rangers.
^so in the end its Buchnevich, Hunter Skinner, conditional 1st in 2023 and conditional 4th in 2024 for Tarasenko, Niko Mikkola and a 2nd in 2022 after its all said and done.
I actually like Buchnevich, he plays has abit of nastyness in him
