New Maserati GranTurismo

Its uglier than the previous oneFailFish this is what happens when you DONT have pininfarina design it
plus they'll probably throw in that neptuno v6 instead of a ferrari motor.

it sucks and will fall apart the moment it leaves the dealership so its ok that its ugly

I'm angry because I PPI'd an Alfa Romeo Spider yesterday and while it "looked" good (designed by Pinninfarina) the thing was a bigger POS than I had anticipated.

JDMDreams 08-31-2022 08:59 AM

Maserati why you do dis

Looks like puffer

I guess I'll save money on an older one

Badhobz 08-31-2022 09:02 AM

Buy the older one, just make sure it’s one that’s 2012+ so there isn’t a problem with the variators. The 4.7 engines. 4.2’s had more problems.

!Aznboi128 08-31-2022 11:10 AM

looks like just some new body panels...

320icar 08-31-2022 11:16 AM

Lol a new one? Shit looks exactly the same

Badhobz 08-31-2022 12:07 PM

This is like a middle aged woman who keeps going down the plastic surgery route and end up like this

radeonboy 08-31-2022 12:10 PM

It's hard to beat the design of the original, but they haven't butchered it as they've done to the Quattroporte. Pretty cool they're also offering this as a full-EV as well.

I inspected a 4C coupe back when they launched, with 8000km on the odo.

There was hairline cracks and bubbles in the carbon tub, visible from the side sills.

Oh man.

For transparency, the Spider I was referring to is from 1986 :lol

There are three categories of people who look for Alfa Romeos (or any Italian car for that matter.)

1. Weirdos
2. Eccentrics
3. Sadists and Masochists

I will let you decide which category/categories I fall under. :accepted:

Or my sister in law who just bought a alfa romeo giulia. For some reason she has always wanted an Alfa.

68style 08-31-2022 01:38 PM

I would own an Alfa in certain circumstances...

I've always loved the GTVs and the Giulia Supers... the 1960's ones are fantastic works of art...

I drove a diesel 156 sedan trouble-free through all of Europe once so that was an amazing journey and even though it was a well used (130,000km+) base model rental, which I'm pretty sure Avis Amsterdam gave me as a joke because I kept insisting on a diesel, it drove fantastic... and I think the replacement... the 159 from 07-ish is one of the best looking saloon/estate designs around.

I don't think it's a good idea to have one as your only car tho lol

Apparently the normal Giulias are quite reliable with a great chassis to boot thanks to the Quadrifoglio spec. They're also great value too on the used market, especially if you can find one in rwd spec.

My dream girl

Badhobz 08-31-2022 02:51 PM

Italian ownership is one of a kind… you get screwed on all ends.

Screwed when you buy it
Screwed when you service it
Screwed when you sell it
Screwed when you miss it
Screwed when you repeat your insanity and buy it again

Alpine 08-31-2022 03:39 PM

I am currently on step #2 but I fear #3-#5 so I will likely never sell my Fiat lol. And yes, it doesn't help when resale value is a concept that doesn't exist lol.

punkwax 08-31-2022 06:11 PM

Only $420 per km though

Badhobz 09-01-2022 03:36 PM

Still yuck

68style 09-01-2022 04:30 PM

I hope that’s wrapped… pink with blue and white interior? Ugh

JDMDreams 09-01-2022 07:08 PM

Ok 0 to 60mph in 2.6 sec in impressive, and over 200mph top speed.

snowball 09-01-2022 10:15 PM

Is this not the same car but with the old Jaguar F type headlights? lol

bcrdukes 09-02-2022 06:13 AM
