I need a pneumatic 6" sticky random orbital sander preferably a 1/8" version. Festool, no.
3M might work, Ingersoll Rand is ok. gotta be vacuum ready too.

MG1 11-25-2022 07:35 AM

I guess I’m getting old. Staples had $25.00 gift cards for first 20 customers with purchase as a Black Friday promo. I knew about it, but decided, after 3 seconds of thinking about it, it’s not worth it. I could hear my daughter saying, “Dad, you don’t have to do that kind of thing anymore.” Still……………………..

/thread derail

Speaking of strip clubs, didn't know #5 orange was so busy on a Thursday....
Went last night, got in around 9 with two tables, by midnight the place was packed.

The onslaught of black Friday jokes for lapdances from my friends was savage, the ladies of the night did not bite lol

And then Merkules walks in, I had no idea he was local from Surrey, humble guy I must say
(cue 1 other person on this forum knowing who he is)

I do not know who that is, but that’s a pretty cool name.

I didn’t know you danced though? Nice.

Been waiting on a deal for the cordless dewalt die grinder for years. Randomly went into Summit Tools and it was $99. Currently $299 everywhere online. Wanted this one as it’s the only cordless that has variable speed.

Just checked receipt. They charged me $79! Score

68style 11-25-2022 11:36 AM

^ Awesome man so happy for you!

Needed a decent knife for the kitchen. I have some Miyabi stuff, but too lazy to maintain them all the time. So, a cheap one I can use on a daily basis is all I need. Then saw this on sale. Gourmet Warehouse Black Friday Sale.

https://gourmetwarehouse.ca

The Global two piece knife set was $99.00 (reg $270.00). Made in Japan, so can't go wrong, right? I purchased a few other things to make the purchase over $150.00 to get a further $10.00 off promo code.

i have that knife and it's pretty good and low maintenance. i also have a few japanese carbon steel knives but im a lazy bastard and i like low maintenance knives that i don't have to worry about rusting if i dont dry it off after using. so far it's stayed sharp with just occasional honing for the last 3 months.

68style 11-25-2022 12:50 PM

Wow that’s a wicked deal, would flesh out some empty slots in my Henckels knife block!

hud 91gt 11-25-2022 01:57 PM

I picked one up a set. Lol

Badhobz 11-25-2022 02:10 PM

No Tax Day at Superstore. It’s lame af, but it is what it is.

Gumby 11-25-2022 05:23 PM

Thanks MG1, I also picked up that knife set to replace a few no-name knives my wife uses. So scared that she's gonna injure herself using those crappy things... We suck at cooking, but I'm always in favour of having decent tools!

twitchyzero 11-25-2022 05:24 PM

arent earbuds like underwear? i dont think they're supposed to be returned let alone resold

I bought the Global like 5 years ago also as part of a Black Friday deal and while I think it's while it's a sharp ass knife I rarely use it because the handle to me gets pretty slippery and is pretty small for my hand even though I have avg size hands at best.

I shouldn't have looked on their site, now I might go tomorrow FeelsBadMan

Looks like your die grinder was 99 for the month, but down to 79 for today only. At least that's what I can tell from the flyers on the site.

Yes. A dull knife is the most dangerous knife in the kitchen.
