Shop looks good. It's great they provide tool boxes for techs now. I remember back in the day everyone had to supply their own.

Nice parking spot at the mall there -- zero risk of getting door dings!

Well, after 5 years on stock turbos and first year on upgraded ones i managed to get my first 9 sec pass !! On paper its definitely not the platform to run 9s or to drag race but its definitely possible. Top 10 in the world with a N54 powered car, not too shabby

In hindsight would you have started with an xi for more off the line traction? Looks like you hook up really well regardless though!

Street probably awd, but front axles and transfer case are the weak points on Xi, and they are heavier. i never race on the street, especially from a dig, so if i did it all over again i would stick with rwd. And with knowing what works and what doesnt i can probably build a 9 sec car for 20-25k including the cost of the car, or at least a consistent low 10sec car. Quote:

what's the next target? very interesting project | stock is 425 tq on a 335d. Throw a tune and downpipes on it and its already at 650. no issues holding up to 800+ and lots of upgrades available on it vs the stock hp21.
idk whats next, maybe switch to import class from outlaw and pick on the supercars that come to race and just have fun with it. Install a roll bar so track officials dont give me shit now that its going to be a consistent 9 sec car.

Foam guns are fun. But i hardly use mine anymore as it seems more pain in the ass to drag out the pressure washer than it is to just do a 2 bucket wash

And it has a quick disconnect so you can take off the foam canister and just use the back end as a sprayer to rinse the car. Doesn't produce as thick of a foam, but it's good enough for a pre-wash soak.
