I think once Dak gets up to speed, they'll have him with Petey and Garland. Dak and Garland succeeded with every center they played with last year, and Dak is now getting paid to be more than a 4th liner, have to be able to play middle 6

Sprong is traded to the Kraken:

Thoughts on this trade?

Canucks are making room for Joshua? DJ is playing soon?

NHL player safety makes an announcement:

Los Angeles’ Tanner Jeannot has been suspended for three games for an illegal check to the head against Vancouver’s Brock Boeser.

Remember few weeks ago he had a extra long chat with Tocchet after practice. Probably didn't fit in with Tocchet coaching style and didn't want to be a healthy scratch for the year.

I think they're bringing Lekkerimaki up. Dude is tearing shit up in Abby averaging like 5-6 shots a game. Although personally I'd like to see him stay in Abby this season and gain the confidence of being a beast there.

7GP 5G 2A so far... but he's also a ghastly -8 so that's a bit yikes.

I think they're just doing both him and Seattle a solid. They could've waived him, but another team might've picked him up.

it's being speculated they had a gentlemen's agreement that if he wasn't going to get a look at top 6 mins then they would trade him

Joshua has been on IR this entire time (not LTIR) so that's one roster spot. This move is likely to bring Lekkerimaki up or perhaps Bains again. Would personally like to see JL get a look to see how he fairs in some NHL games.

Sprong obviously isn’t a toch player, when have you noticed him other than when he scored?

Ya, I don't think Tocchet would like that.

I think you gotta reward him with a few games with the big club, also show him how much he still needs to work on. It's early in the season and we're down a couple guys anyway, better now than in March/April.

I looked up Abby's stats the other day and Guilliame Brisebois has played in 11 games and he's -11 on the season with no points... woof.

E. Pettersson is +4 though! One of the few plus players on the team.

maybe they just need to have the E Pettersson's wear each other's jerseys for a game or two.

Surprised they put DeBrusk back with Petey. He had a 3 game point streak with Miller and Boeser.

Hell of a play by Soucy, getting to the puck before Draisaitl when it was hanging there for like 2 or 3 seconds as the goaltender took a nap

GG. Lanki kept them in it for 2 periods. Could easily be 9-0 right now. Looks like the Oilers are just a much better team unfortunately. I guess that's what makes people so aggro about them

Last home game they lost to devils, the crowds boo them off the ice.

Tonight they chant "let's go oilers". Lol. I guess the Canucks fans already left the building.

Chalk last night's game to a week of road games, come back with a 2 day turn around and exhausted? I mean they were 3-0 on the California sweep with a W in LA.

Was interesting to see Debrusk Father and Son after game interview on HNIC.
