I was rooting for the Oilers as a non fan (but super fan of McDavid) but I'm kind of relieved they didn't win. I would have been happy for the good Canadian brothers and sisters who are fans of the team, but I acknowledge how annoying it would have been with the obnoxious part of the fan base

Florida sucks, Tkachuk sucks, but whatever. Glad they got to win it at home in front of their 500 fans and 16,000 bandwagoners!

I never once thought Edmonton was going to win in either cup run not with Skinner. Kind of the same feeling I had during the west coast express days I never once believed we'd ever win as long as Cloutier was our goalie.

Oilers powered their way through the playoffs but ran into a wall of a team that was just "firing on all cylinders" as they say

I wouldn't be shocked at another rematch next year, depending on which key players stay or go.

Oilers proved that you can make it to the final dance with shit goaltending if you make up for it with a crazy good top line, but you can't beat a more complete team that way. 2-3 wins maybe, but not 4

I wouldn’t put anything passed Mcdavid, but just physically I highly doubt they make it back to a 3rd finals
