yeah i kinda agree that its not in good taste to knock on celebs doors, but at the same time mcdavids mansion has doorbell cams with screens where he can see who is at the door and decide to open it or not. while they shouldnt have knocked, mcdavid chose to greet the kid willingly. very slightly different than being accosted for pics in an airport like the photo above lol
Well what was he gonna do? Hide until the door bell stopped ringing? Then people like this go online and call him an asshole for not opening the door? lol
The fact he doesn’t have a massive gate etc. probably speaks to the fact typically DONT do this? lol

like i said, there's a million reasons someone could open the door. maybe he was expecting his ubereats to arrive. maybe his friend was coming over, so he assumed it was the friend. maybe he did see that there were kids outside and wondered if they needed help cause someone was hurt or lost? maybe it's a gated community, so he didnt expect to be ambushed by strangers looking for a photo?
the fact that it's not even a proper picture with the kids, but a "deer-in-headlights" picture is quite telling. it's almost as if he's wondering "who is this", "why are you at my home", and "why are you filming me".
it's like the opposite of door ditching, lol. ring the bell, wait for them to come to the door, snap a picture and then go.

Michael Buble has a massive gate at his Burnaby home. He even has a nice full size ice rink inside.
The club has named Kevin Dean, Brett McLean, and Scott Young Assistant Coaches.
The team also announced that Assistant Coach Yogi Svejkovský, Defensive Development Coach Sergei Gonchar, and Video Coach Dylan Crawford will not be returning to the team for the 2025.26 season.
Besides the additions of Dean, McLean and Young, Head Coach Adam Foote is pleased to have Marko Torenius, Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin and Jason Krog return to the Canucks next season to resume their current roles.
