Yeah even a mid trim RAM makes a F150 Platinum look like a tarted up Sentra. It’s interior quality, materials, etc is that good. My issue with pickups is actually braking: 6000lbs on all terrain 275s is kinda sketch at 140kmh or around a corner. Heard hurricane blows dicks for any real use - it’s up 200hp from Hemi but tow rating is down cuz they can’t cool them properly. |

Some other manufactures will get saved - GM, Hyundai, BMW make banger EVs but awful gas cars. Toyota? Man their trucks are blowing engines/trans and their EVs also suck |
How did this thread turn into AstulzerRZD talking to himself? |
Bro clearly has beef with trucks ^ |
Realistic .... my prius prime If given enough time to prep for once in a life time road trip.... hopefully a 911 that still has 3 pedals... (ie save up like crazy and make smart choices and be ready to do it when I retire lololol) Hopefully gas is not $10/L or $35/gallon lolollolololol this is just stupid talk... but honestly will be a 997.2 GTS... just modern enough to have bluetooth, but old enough to be a 911... plus this is the gen that I grew up with.... this was my desktop background for the longest time... https://i.imgur.com/Qual3mU.jpeg Yes yes yes I know this is not a GTS lololol, I wouldnt want a GT3 RS for road trip anyways... and honestly, its just out of reach~ ======================================= Unrealistic OR win LOTTO tmrw... The 812 GTS... top down for the good weather, roof up for bad weather, u-turn for snow.... LOL.... NA V12 that max output @ 8500 but will rev out to 9000 It is a "grand tourer" per Ferrari, I know its not comfortable, but its the theater and drama. I acutally like the looks of the F12 better, but no way I am putting that much miles on a limited-series drop top F12 lololol, the 812 GTS will just be cheaper to run and technically more reliable~~ ================================================== ================= Or you know.... But be dammed my first prancing horse be a SUV lolol |
The real answer is a 70's caddy, drop top. |
Ok my choices. GR Corolla Pro's Manual so it's fun to drive AWD so It can handle snow no problem It's a Toyota so if it was problems it won't be hard to find a shop to fix it. Con's Interior could be better Sound system sucks but that can be fixed Used R35 GTR Pro's 150 more HP than the GR AWD so great in snow Cons Not a manual Might be hard to find a used one that's not beat on Why used because it's not worth 200k plus for a new one. |

oh fuck, i didnt even notice! |
If money's no issue and I can pick any car... the most realistic would be the recently discontinued Acura NSX. It's super fun to drive, reliable so that I'm not worried breaking down in the middle of nowhere and the seating in for relatively long period (I was in for 2 days) was decent enough that my back wouldn't hate me. |

Bought my G90 for exactly this. Big comfy, NA V8, quiet interior, good audio, big trunk, openpilot equipped. Drove to Vegas and California a few times and it's been great. If money isn't an issue, RR Wraith |
How's nsx good? It's like $200k. Can't you get that in a c8 for half the price and looks same same. Or gtr for $100 |
It’s still 200k?!! Than it’s stupid. That interior is garbage for a 200k car. I got a hankering for a lucid sapphire air recently. Haven’t tried it yet but all the reviewers love it. |

3,500 made worldwide in 6 years of production is pretty exclusive, the price will stay the same or go up over time. If our dollar was competitive, there's quite a few available in the $120-140k range in the US. Only the 2022 Type-S with the ugly (my opinion) Lambo looking facelift has people asking $250k+ usd... for me I'd look for a 2019-2021 with mild updates and paint matched beak. Only about 500 made in 3 years they will be double the price they are now in 10 years. C8 and GTR are just going to depreciate constantly. |
What kinda vehicle kinda depends on what kinda driving specifically. If I'm solo/with the wife and limited to highways or going past the Rockies give me an S class. Same deal but with the family give me whatever the plushest van is these days. If I'm staying in BC and able to take at least back highways it has to be manual. With the all kinds of weather requirement it'd be better to have AWD so I'm probably landing in a GR Corolla. If it was fair weather only I'd prefer something 2WD though. Quote:

If money wasn't an issue, id be rich |
You are rich you bastard. You live in one of the nicest parts of Richmond. Your Neighbor crashes into corollas for lawls and you have like 3-4 cars on your driveway plus that weirdo jap box in the garage. All those hours of overtime at Wendy’s is paying off. Speaking of which can you help me with my clutch delay valve ? I don’t have a bleeder machine or any of those caps to stop the juice from flowing out of the valve if I rip it out. |
I'd take an 80 series Toyota Landcruiser. Reliable, simple, and spacious. |

^ You don't have to go 120km/h. Whatever is a safe speed to get to your destination safely. I just enjoy the drive on the slow lane and let people pass me. Lol. |
