They keep trying to blame everything on trans - they did it with the shooter himself before he was identified. It's part of what made Charlie Kirk such a rotten piece of shit, and not "someone with different opinions". This is the exact rhetoric he was spreading right before he was removed from our existence.
Let's not turn this into a "transvestigation" thread, but if they are trans, and they were romantically partnered rather than roommates or whatever, that would certainly fit into the 4chan archetype. If not, whatever, who cares
If he's a groyper, and dating a trans, that does NOT make him a leftie lol. The insane alt right HATES women, and are very much into trannies. It would be the opposite of what some people are hoping for.
Trump, Republicans, etc all know what this guy is about, that's why they're not talking about him anymore. The civil war was called off. This is alt right going after far right. It's the worst case scenario for them.
Just started to do a little bit of reading on Groyper and their relationship to the right (gawd, I hope I don't start getting their sh*t in my feed now) but one key point is their view on Israel. Groyper, think Nazi Germany, hates Israel. So imagine their view on Republicans and how they bow down to Jews and Israel in everything, economically and politically. They think people like Kirk are traitors, opportunist, and 'moderates' to the real cause ... so one of them eliminated Kirk.
You can see how the Republicans are pivoting and not talking about radical left behind the killing anymore and skinny said. Terrible for Republicans but great that this might be the thing that will result in far right/alt right movement implosion ... hopefully.
Groyper is alt-right, basically think of it as 4chan trolls being more organized and taking directions from one person.
I don’t even think Trump and MAGA groups realize how dangerous this group is becoming. Instead, they’ll blame this shooting on the left and move on, until one of these deranged idiots kills someone else who’s MAGA.
So I’ll start off saying that I struggle taking black and white positions on these things …wife says I have oppositional defiance disorder to which I reply “no I don’t”.
I listened to Charlie Kirk on Gavin’s Newsome podcast. I’ve seen some of the quotes attributed to him here and looked up the context.
This quote is slightly mitigated . There a link at the bottom of the page that links to other quotes that don’t really offer any mitigation.
I don’t see him as a unredeemable ultra right wing piece of shit. I don’t agree on a lot or most of his positions but I also don’t see most of them being as extreme as presented .
The celebration of someone being killed seems to me to suggest more about polarization in today’s politics than anything else. The rights reaction included .
At the end of the day it seems the public personas of these guys are calculated/ presented to be polarizing . I doubt highly in real life they are this extreme . That to me is the real shame

See, and that's the problem. I bet a lot of these online culture warrior grifters don't even believe half the crap they spew out, but sitting on the extreme is what makes money and attracts attention/clicks, that's the fundamental problem here.
These people exist with these extreme opinions and play in dangerous arenas that attract the crazies, gives breath and legitimacy to these ridiculous ideologies, it's exactly what I hate about modern internet culture.
Everyone really needs to scale it back, every opinion doesn't need to be so hyperbolic all the damn time to garner engagement.
