I've tried about 5 different masks and have only successfully had 1 stay on my face for an entire night...once. All the other times I don't think I've lasted more than 1 hour on my face but that one time was GREAT.

Ok, I'm going to try give it a shot again. And yeah, most of the "sleep clinics" will rip you off if you buy machines/masks from them. Buying online is much much cheaper.

Followed by funeral homes, plots, and where to get the best caskets and headstone materials.

Off topic but if you invested $500K into plots in Vancouver instead of a 1bed condo back in 2015 you'd be laughing.

Speaking of this - what are the options for a Chinese speaking assisted living facility? I just tried Googling for Vancouver assisted living facilities and they all looks super white.

It's gone to a damn monoply by Dignity. Used to be independent funeral homes but now Dignity practically gobbled them all up.

Most people are going with cremation now. And there are some pretty reasonable ones Simple Cremation ~$1000.

Ah ha ! Big friggin funeral. I told you toys this shit is a scam.

Find me a dumpster, roll my corpse in it, and set it on fire. Or just put me in a beetle and set it on fire. Good way to dispose of two utterly trash things in one go.

SUCCESS has multiple levels of care. Assisted living, long-term care etc.

Villa Cathay has long term care, I don't know if they have assisted living too.

Both cater to Chinese community in terms of activities offered, languages spoken by staff, food offerings.

Don't do CPAP just because you snore and are having bad sleep.

Yes, they might help. But ultimately, you need to get down to the root of the problem.

I'd had severe snoring problem for most of my adult life. It's gotten so bad that chicks I slept with couldn't bare. So I went through several clinics and what have you.

First, it was CPAP. It helped but I hated it with a passion. It just didn't give me a very comfortable sleep.

Then a full sleep clinic at one of the best in Taiwan... they thought the issue was my habit of mouth breathing. Hence suggested mouth tape (when on the go as I traveled often) or a full head band to prevent the mouth breathing. It helped tremendously, but still wasn't perfect.

Finally, where I discovered totally by accident. I was taking some vocal lessons as a way to encourage my kids to take it too as they were gifted (as per their coach) but were afraid of taking lessons and sing in front of strangers. The coach noticed something weird when doing some routine warm up breathing exercise with the way I breath with my nose (making some noise when it shouldn't). Went to an ENT specialist to discovered that I was born with some fucked up nose canal causing near constant inflammation and shit. I undergone a surgery to have it fixed. No more inflammation, no more weird breathing problem, no more mouth breathing habit and most importantly, no more snoring and more energetic than ever.

Of course, YMMV. But what I wanted to say was that CPAP isn't a miracle device if you don't get down to the root of the problem. It merely makes the problem less severe.
