Sorry to hear.
Ive had a similar hit on my S2 back then. As soon as that rad support bar and rail gets bent its basically a no bueno to repair :(

JDMDreams 02-10-2026 06:21 PM

HOLD UP.... ok.. no joke, PM me how much you want for the S2k? lolol

I mean glad you are okay...

But just gimme a price so I know I should give up lol....

Technically still clean title right? since no insurance at track, I assume ICBC does not know about this yet, so still a clean VIN...

That mission place is cursed. I highly suggest you toys don’t race there. I watched the throttlehause video on the LFA where they tested that there and the track is tight as fuck. Any little hiccup and you’re done. Zero room for error. Like why do this ?!?

Yeah, James lost a Ford GT on the straight too. Full spin and somehow didn't hit the wall. Talk about a brown pants moment.

Sorry to hear, but glad you're not hurt.

ND miata time!

JDMDreams 02-10-2026 09:03 PM

Got the AC fixed, got the roll bar installed...

And then driver stupidity ensues. Mission track claims another car.

I'm OK, just mad at myself. No physical damage just emotional lol.

This happened in January so I've had time to come to terms with it.

:okay: it's only February

Man that hurts to see. Good to hear it at least did its job and kept you safe.

If nothing behind the firewall is tweaked it could maybe be saved with a tube front, but that's a lot of work.

Sorry to hear man, you put a lot of efforts into that car but I'm sure you learned a lot at the same time and it was a fun journey too.

Glad you are okay, concrete barriers at any speed are no joke.

Err... so lets say... one of the 19in tires on my prius is F**KED.... and being such a weird size of 195/50R19... it was almost just the same price to pick up a set of 18in used curbed tesla rims with tires ($550)...plenty of tread left on the tires too, just I had to drive 3 hours out to get them... Everything Local was $800 to $1,000.... but since I used the tesla to pick up... the cost of transportation was really just my time...

So here we are... overall size difference according to wheel size calculator is 1.03%

The wheel center caps are ordered from China (arriving in 3 to 5 weeks), $2.40 CAD for 4 including shipping LMAO.. (I just cant afford to spend the $20 on Amazon)

whitev70r 02-11-2026 06:51 PM

Pimping a Prius! :fullofwin:

JDMDreams 02-11-2026 06:57 PM

Just put Tesla caps on. How much range are you losing with 40mm wider tires doe

bcrdukes 02-11-2026 07:10 PM

I would like to see dark0821 wrap his Prius in Ferrari Red.

We will find out.. probably alot... but ride is already better with the thicker tirewalls... and grip for dayyysss

RabidRat 02-12-2026 07:36 AM

Damn, looks great. Well played!

bcrdukes 02-12-2026 07:54 AM

I am curious how the bump up in wheel size and tires will impact your fuel economy.

RabidRat 02-12-2026 08:13 AM

Doesn't he have a Prime? So then zero impact, since they probably plug-in at night, and drive around the city in EV mode.

AstulzerRZD 02-12-2026 08:27 AM

Bro went from weird 195 width tires to 235.
Probably drop from 70km electric range to like 55.

RabidRat 02-12-2026 09:04 AM

Take it from somebody who drives around on 155 width tires: it's not worth the tradeoff for the range savings lol. You get it all back at the end of the day anyway!

No, this is the big track not in auto-x.

The car is repairable (as is everything with enough money) but whether or not it's worth is another question.
