If you want to go even deeper into the new Formula, this is a very detailed look as how the new cars will perform for the drivers. Rich |
Very curious to see the new changes, especially the impact with all the new aero stuff. |

Watching F1 for the first time live this year in Japan :) |
The cars look so nice, quite noticably smaller as well. |

I just hope for a competitive season without one team running away with it. |

yep - Chris Harris highlight of 2025 for sure. |
This was entertaining: Bigtime really stepping up! The GT40 Arvid drove was sick |
The Race posted, Adami has been moved to Ferrari Driver Academy. There's no news on who will be Hamilton's race engineer https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid...11368347670331 |
New rules have me intrigued. I fell off pretty quick last year, let's see what happens this time |
Audi is in F1 now: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ee3493ba9c.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I gotta admit , all of these new features: overtake mode, boost mode, recharge mode, flex wings, super duper hyperspeed mode.... I dunno. Remember the game F-Zero? This kinda feels like that now. |
A lot has been happening in the world of F1 since testing. Even trying to understand the new regs is a challenge, these Chain Bear videos are always a good place to start. Rich |
Who thinks that both Bahrain and Jeddah get cancelled due to the war? WEC has already cancelled/postponed Qatar which was happening at the end of March. Bahrain and Jeddah are both mid-April races so they probably have only 2 more weeks to decide if they're cancelling. Not sure they can easily find a backup plan in time as well - I heard maybe Imola and/or Turkey. |
Yes, I could see it happen. That might be good news for Honda if it gives them some time to fix their POS engine. I'm going to the Japan GP this year. If you see a bunch of dudes in Canadian tuxedo's at Spoon that's us. :) |
I hope the racing isn't as bad as what the drivers are all saying.. |
I don't really follow F1 outside of what you guys post here, but what's wrong with Honda's engines this season? |
Aston Marton signed Honda as its exclusiv engine supplier this year. Like all the teams, Honda's engine has been built from scratch this year because of new rules. From the beginnging, reliability has been bad, and they've literally been running out of replacement parts. I read an article this morning that said Aston Marton might only do the contractually required minimum required number of at Australia and then pull over. lol |
Ouch. Are any other teams feeling the heat with the new rules? (I assume yes.) |
Not as much as AM/Honda are. Mercedes engines look strong, Ferrari looks strong as an overall package... We will see. |
I'm not excited about these new engine rules, HOWEVER, the difference between engine design this year is interesting. Merc seems to have some really good top end power and drivability, RB has strong battery recovery, and Ferrari looks to be REALLY strong on starts and slow speed accel. Australia will be interesting because qualifying won't give us the full story. Rich |
I hate Ferrari giving me hope... fuck... I guess... I can only hope |
