A friend went to one of those single event gatherings last weekend. He's from Seattle but comes up often for this type of shit because he says it's depressing as fuck down there. Also, he's a Honger so its harder to find your own kind down there. Anyway, first chick he chats with and her first question was how much would you spend on a first date with me? He says $200 USD and she was instantly triggered claiming it should be at least $500. Yea good luck wtf is wrong with people.

i met my GF online on a free gaming site 3 months after i got Shaw internet in 1998. there were chat windows along the side of the screen so everyone in the the "room" could chat with each other. i was in a Canada room and started chatting with her while playing Keno. she was in Calgary and this went on for over a year before she flew to Vancouver to visit. she moved here in late 1999.

U$500 might be just a bit much. But to say $200 is too much is a stretch.
I mean, I dunno about you guys, I've always paid for meals when going out on a date and given how much a meal is today at a decent restaurant, I am not sure how far $200 is gonna go.
