It takes work and conversations to keep the spark alive after years of marriage. After our kid I was patient for many months as it's a fucking disaster with a newborn so that was an obvious write off. After 6+ months and the kid was sleeping through the night I had to have a serious discussion about getting the bedroom back in order because I refuse to live my life in some sexless marriage.
It takes both sides, women are different than men who just always want to fuck, they need to feel a connection, you gotta keep up with the dates and nice gestures or you're just a roommate to them and that's the last person they want to fuck.
If you're in a sexless marriage and hate it you have to bring it up and find out what it's gonna take to get it back, or you'll just end up resenting them as you jerk off to the thought of the new chick at work.
